As per the CLAT 2018 Committee, National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) Kochi is the regulating body for the law admission test. The exam will be administered online on May 13, 2018. The CLAT aspirants will be appearing in the law exam for admissions to nearly 2300 seats on offer across 19 National Law Universities (NLUs) including Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad.
There are 21 NLUs across India, out of which the 19 offer admissions through CLAT. The remaining two, National Law University Delhi (NLU-D) and Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU) hold their own entrances, AILET and HPNET, respectively for offering admissions into the law programmes.
