Am law aspirant I have applied for clat and ailet.. If i want to apply for VIT law collage. How should I ? is lsat required? will it benifit? if my clat n ailet scores are not upto Mark? how does this process go can anyone help me

sushmitha M 27th Mar, 2020

Hi,

To get admission in VIT Law School, you must have a minimum of 60 % in your 12th. It considers  CLAT, LSAT & anyother widely recognized law test as an entrance test. So you can write either of them and then fill your application for LLB course in the official website of VIT by filling the required details and submit your registration form. Then the merit screening happens based on your marks in LSAT, CLAT or any other law exam and candidates are shortlisted in that process.

There is no change expected in the pattern of AILET exam for law aspirants in 2020. It is going to be the same as last year,  there will be 150 objective type or multiple choice questions. Which means, for every question, there will be four answer options. Candidates have  to mark the correct answer on the OMR sheet.

can I give both the exam clat and ailet

Akram Khan 22nd Mar, 2020

Hi,

Both clat and ailet exam are the entrance exams for law courses.

Ailet is All India Law Entrance Test. It is conducted by National Law University Delhi.

Clat is common law entrance test. It is conducted by The Consortium of National Law Universities.

If you met the eligibility criteria to appear the clat exam and ailet exam you can give both provided the exam dates for both do not coincide.

Hope this helps.
