AILET exam pattern 2020 - The National Law University Delhi decides the exam pattern of AILET 2020. The University will publish the AILET 2020 exam pattern in 1st week of January 2019, along with the admission notification. The exam pattern of AILET 2020 is not expected to undergo any changes and will follow the pattern set by the University last year. Though the All India Law Entrance Test is conducted separately for undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes, there is no difference in the AILET exam pattern 2020 for both these examinations. AILET exam pattern 2020 - Mode of examination

AILET 2020 will be conducted in offline mode, that is, candidates will have to mark the answers on an OMR sheet. To mark the answers on the OMR sheet, one can use a black ball point only. No cutting or changing of answers on the OMR sheet is permitted, thus the test takers are advised to mark the answers carefully.

AILET 2020 exam pattern - Duration of the examination and total number of questions

The entrance will test the law aspirants on the basis of 150 questions. To attempt these, a candidate will be given 90 minutes. AILET 2020 is said to be the most difficult law entrances in India. The difficulty level of the examination can be judged by the fact that for each question, the exam pattern of AILET 2020 permits less than a minute.

AILET exam pattern 2020 - Type of Questions

According to the exam pattern of AILET 2020, there will be 150 objective type or multiple choice questions. Which means, for every question there will be four answer options. Candidate has to mark the correct answer on the OMR sheet.

Negative Marking System of the AILET exam pattern 2020

According to the exam pattern of AILET 2020, each question carries one mark. This means that for every correct answer candidate is awarded one mark. However, the University follows a negative marking system and deducts 1ā„4th mark for every incorrect answer.

Delhi university llb counseling mode

The counselling for DU LLB will be offline. This means that the candidates will have to report to the centre on the day of counselling. The counseling will include registration, document verification, and submission of all documents and forms. Also, make sure you bring all the original documents as well.

If you miss the counselling on the given day, you will be disqualified. The counselling session will be after the release of merit list and only the candidates who get a call letter will be allowed in the counselling.

The counselling for 1st round will begin in July 2020.

The National Law University, Delhi will conduct All India Law Entrance Test - 2020 (AILET - 2O2O)" for admission to Five Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D Programme on Sunday, May 3, 2O2O from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at various test centres across the country. The admission notice will be issued in the first week of January 2020 and the Online Application Forms will be available on the University website from first week of January 2O2O.

NLU Delhi will conduct AILET 2020 in the month of May 2020. So, you have 5-6 months for preparation. Start with making a proper and programmatic study schedule. Then go through the whole syllabus. Difference between clat and ailet as per college bases?

Hello Abhishek,

The Common Law Entrance Test (CLAT) and the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) are both entrance examinations for undergraduate law courses in India. AILET is considered tougher than CLAT. The basic difference on the basis of Institutes is that CLAT has 19 participating Universities but AILET offers admission only to the National Law University in Delhi.


When can I apply for admission in nlu

Dear Aspirant,

For admission in NLU, Delhi you have to prepare for the national level entrance test AILET 2020. It is conducted for both LLB, LLM and PhD. programmes. Also, it is help on the first Sunday of May and that is what is proposed for this year as well.

Here are the details of the exam. The application starts in the first week of January 2020 and will go on till the second week of April 2020. After you get your admit card in the very next week, the exam will be held in the first week of May 2020. The announcement of the results will depend on the course. For instance, results for LLB will be declared in the 3rd week of May 2020 while for LLM, they will be declared in the 1st week of July, 2020 and PhD in the subsequent week.

If you are applying for LLB, you should have passed your 10+2 exam from a recognised board or an equivalent examination with the aggregate of 50% marks in the final examination. Even if you have given the following in March 2019/April 2019, you are eligible to apply.

For LLM, you need an LLB degree or equivalent law degree with an aggregate of 55% marks or 50% marks depending on your caste.
