AILET PG Application Form 2016 – National Law University Delhi (NLU-D) has begun All India Law Entrance Test for PG programmes (AILET PG) Application Forms for admission year 2016 from January 1. AILET PG 2016 Application Form can be filled in online mode by registering.

You need to register before applying for the law admission test of NLU Delhi. Check below the complete application procedure of AILET PG Application Form 2016.

NLU Delhi will be conducting AILET PG 2016 in offline mode on May 1 and the applications need to be submitted before April11, 2016. Check here for other important dates of AILET PG 2016.

You are advised to read Eligibility Criteria of AILET PG 2016, before applying for AILET PG 2016.

How to fill AILET PG Application Form 2016

  • Click on the official link of AILET PG 2016 Application Form provided below in this page

  • The first step of AILET PG 2016 Application involves online registration

  • You will need a valid e-mail id, mobile number, date of birth, name, parents’ name and address for the online registration

  • As soon as you click on ‘Registration’ button, you will be redirected to ‘Application Locker’ page, where you’ll need to confirm the details provided by you

  • In the next step you will be asked to choose the college and click on ‘Click here to Apply’ link besides National Law University for applying, afterwards select course ‘BA LLB’ from the drop down menu in the next page, before clicking on ‘Apply Now’ button

  • Once you are redirected to the ‘Application Form of AILET PG 2016’ page, fill in the online application form and upload the photograph and signature and click on ‘Save/Continue to Payment’ button for remitting the application fees

  • You can remit the application fee in any of the modes – online and offline

  • After remitting the application fees of AILET PG 2016, you are done and will receive a confirmation mail of the same on your registered e-mail id

  • You’ll be required to take a print out of the acknowledgment slip from your registered mail id

How to pay AILET PG 2016 Application Fees – You will be facilitated with two modes – online and offline for remitting AILET PG 2016 application fee


Offline Mode – If you choose for the offline mode, you’ll be redirected to the page where a Post Office Challan will be generated. You will have to click on ‘Check for slip’ button after choosing your state from the drop down menu. Next, you’ll need to take a print out of the same and deposit the amount of Rs. 3125 (including transaction charges) in cash by visiting your nearest post office.

Online Mode – If you choose for the online mode, you’ll be redirected to the online transaction page, where you can use any of the facilities – Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card for remitting the amount of Rs. 3125.

Modalities for AILET PG 2016 Applications

  • Application Forms for AILET PG 2016 will be available in online mode only

  • Before applying for All India Law Entrance Test (AILET PG), you need to be ready with a valid e-mail id, mobile number and scanned copy of photograph

  • In the first step of AILET PG 2016 Applications, you need to register by entering some necessary details including e-mail id, choosing password, name, date of birth, parents’ name, address and mobile number

  • After the registration process for AILET PG 2016 Application Form, you will have to remit the application fees

  • No application submitted after the last date will be entertained in any circumstances

All India Law Entrance Test (AILET PG) is conducted by National Law University Delhi (NLU-D) for admissions to as many as 20 seats in one year LLM programme. Last year around 700 applicants had registered for AILET PG.

AILET consists of 150 questions; each question carrying one mark and negative marking of 0.25 is applicable for every wrong answer. AILET contains the following sections- English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics. There is a time limit of 90 minutes. The syllabus of each section is given below:

What is syllabus for CLAT and AILET PG entrance exams?

The AILET syllabus for LLM consistes of topics from law of contracts, Law of torts, criminal laws, constitutional laws and legal theory.

From each of the above  topics there are 20 questions. It is an offline exam with MCQ based answers.

total time provided is 90 mins.For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and negative marking of 0.25 for wrong answers.

Hello! AILET 2019 will be conducted in offline mode on May 5, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. NLU Delhi will administer AILET 2019. Apart from the topics in the LLM syllabus, candidates will also be required to write an essay on the given topic. Questions will be of objective-nature where the candidates will be required to choose one option out of the four options given.

AILET PG Exam Pattern 2019 is as follows -

  • Exam Mode: Offline
  • Exam Duration: 1.5 hours
  • Language: English
  • Types of Questions: Objective type
  • Total Marks: 150
  • Number of Questions: 150
  • Marking Scheme: 0.25 negative marking

I am in my last year of undergrad law. can I apply for ailet PG 2019?

Yes, you are eligible to apply for AILET PG 2019 even if you are in the final year of your law degree. The eligibility criteria laid out for AILET PG requires you to have a law degree recognised by BCI to be eligible for admission here. But you can take the entrance exam even in your final year of law. Your admission will be provisional subject to you passing your law degree and scoring a minimum aggregate of 55% when your result is out.
