AILET PG 2016 Exam Pattern – The exam pattern of AILET PG 2016 provided you an overview of All India Law Entrance Test for PG programme. With AILET PG Exam Pattern 2016, you can check the modalities of the NLU Delhi PG law admission test including number of questions, total marks, exam duration and marking scheme.

NLU Delhi conducted AILET PG 2016 on May 1, while the result of AILET PG 2016 will be declared by the third week of May. Click here for other dates of AILET PG 2016.

Paper Pattern of AILET PG 2016 – Let us go through the exam modalities of the NLU Delhi Law Admission Test for PG programme–

Exam Mode – The post graduate law entrance exam was conducted offline mode

Exam Duration– NLU-D conducted the offline paper of AILET PG for a maximum of 90 minutes (1 Hour and 30 Minutes)

Exam Venues – All India Law Entrance Test for PG programme (AILET PG) was conducted in various cities across India. Careers360 provides you the exam centres of AILET PG 2016 as the same has been declared by NLU Delhi. AILET PG was conducted in as many as 19 cities of India, including Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Patna, Raipur and Varanasi.

Number of Questions – The offline paper of NLU Delhi LLM Admission Test had as many as 150 questions of objective nature (Multiple-Choice Questions)

Total Marks – The 150 questions carried a maximum of 150 marks

Marking Scheme – As per the marking policy of AILET PG 2016, each correct answer is awarded one mark and no marks will be deducted in case of any incorrect answer. Moreover, if any answer is marked with more than one answer, it shall be treated as wrong and no marks shall be awarded, even if one of the marked options is correct.

All India Law Entrance Test (AILET PG) is conducted by National Law University Delhi (NLU-D) for admissions to as many as 20 seats in one-year LLM programme. Last year around 700 applicants had registered for AILET PG.

AILET consists of 150 questions; each question carrying one mark and negative marking of 0.25 is applicable for every wrong answer. AILET contains the following sections- English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics. There is a time limit of 90 minutes. The syllabus of each section is given below:

What is syllabus for CLAT and AILET PG entrance exams?

The AILET syllabus for LLM consistes of topics from law of contracts, Law of torts, criminal laws, constitutional laws and legal theory.

From each of the above  topics there are 20 questions. It is an offline exam with MCQ based answers.

total time provided is 90 mins.For each correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and negative marking of 0.25 for wrong answers.

Hello! AILET 2019 will be conducted in offline mode on May 5, 2019 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am. NLU Delhi will administer AILET 2019. Apart from the topics in the LLM syllabus, candidates will also be required to write an essay on the given topic. Questions will be of objective-nature where the candidates will be required to choose one option out of the four options given.

  • Exam Mode: Offline
  • Exam Duration: 1.5 hours

I am in my last year of undergrad law. can I apply for ailet PG 2019?

Hey.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for AILET PG 2019 even if you are in the final year of your law degree. The eligibility criteria laid out for AILET PG requires you to have a law degree recognised by BCI to be eligible for admission here. But you can take the entrance exam even in your final year of law. Your admission will be provisional subject to you passing your law degree and scoring a minimum aggregate of 55% when your result is out.
