Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam, Tirupati conducts the state-level law entrance exam for the admission of candidates to 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM programmes. The entrance exam will be held in online, computer-based test mode, across the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Aspirants should check the eligibility criteria of AP LAWCET 2023 before applying for the application form. The eligibility criteria for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB is given below.
AP LAWCET 3-year LLB eligibility - Graduation is required in any discipline from a recognized university with 45% aggregate marks. Candidates appearing in the final year of graduation are also eligible to appear in the AP LAWCET 2023 exam.
AP LAWCET 5-year LLB eligibility criteria 2023
The candidate should have passed Class 12 examination from a recognized board or equivalent. Candidates appearing in the Class 12 exam are also eligible to apply for the AP LAWCET 2023.

Before starting the AP LAWCET 2023 registration process, candidates should keep the following documents.
Scanned copy of photograph and signature following the prescribed size and format
Government-authorized photo ID proof
Educational certificates and mark sheets for qualifying exams
Debit card, credit card and net banking details for online application fee payment
Caste certificate (if applicable)
Candidates looking to appear for the AP LAWCET, may check the stepwise instructions given below to fill the application form:
Step 1 - Online Registration
Visit the official website - sche.ap.gov.in
Select the Common Entrance Tests tab
Click on the “AP LAWCET 2023” column and click on “Application Form” button
Enter all the required information including personal, academic and contact details
Click on the “Save and Next” button
Step 2 - Document Uploading
Click on the “Document Upload” button
Upload scanned copy of photograph and signature (jpg/jpeg format, photograph and signature should not be more than 50 kb and 30 kb respectively)
Choose the exam centre based on your preferences
Step 3 - Online Application Fee Payment
Click on “Fee Payment” option
Select the law course opted for
Initiate the payment and complete the AP LAWCET application fee payment using debit card/credit card or net banking details. The application fee details are given below.

The Convener reserves the right to reject AP LAWCET application form 2023 at any stage, if found incomplete, false information furnished by the candidate or due to ineligibility.
The candidate should be an Indian national and should satisfy local/ non-local status requirements as laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions) and the amendments made there from time to time..
A candidate with ITI as basic qualification is not eligible for appearing the LAWCET examination

Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) will issue the admit card of AP LAWCET 2023 to the successfully registered candidates. Aspirants must carry the AP LAWCET admit card to the exam centre along with government-issued photo ID proof. The admit card 2023 will comprise the details such as the candidate’s name and roll number, date and time of examination, exam centre details, exam day instructions and other relevant information.

Candidates can fill the AP LAWCET application form online through the official examination portal of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Follow the steps given above to fill the application form.
In order to qualify in the AP LAWCET 2023 exam, general category candidates must secure 35% marks or score 42 marks (out of total 120 marks). There is no minimum score for SC/ST candidates.
For 3-year LLB programme, candidates with graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university are eligible to appear, however, for the admission to 5-year LLB candidates appearing in or passed 12th standard exam are eligible.
According to the previous year data a total of 11,497 candidates appeared for the AP LAWCET examination out of which 89.5% candidates qualified the exam.
The registration fee of AP LAWCET is Rs. 900 for general category candidates, Rs. 850 for backward category candidates, and Rs. 800 for SC/ST candidates.

The number of candidates appearing for the examination of current year is hard to predict as the numbers keep going up. If we consider the previous year data a total of 11,497 candidates appeared for the examination out of which 89.5% candidates qualified the exam.
