BHU LLB Merit List 2020 - Banaras Hindu University will release BHU LLB 2020 merit list around 3rd week of June 2020. The merit list of BHU LLB 2020 will contain details like marks and rank obtained by the candidates and their qualifying status in BHU LLB entrance exam 2020. The BHU LLB 2020 merit list will be available in two formats - overall merit list and category-wise merit list. Merit list of BHU LLB will be e-mailed to the address provided by the candidate and will be sent through SMS at registered mobile number of the candidate. Candidates who are included in the merit list of BHU LLB 2020 will be issued e-call letters for participation in the counselling. Category wise ranking
In such cases, the Banaras Hindu University resolves the issue in the following sequence;
First, BHU will give preference to the candidate who has a higher aggregate percentage of marks in qualifying exam.
If the above-mentioned aggregate percentage is also a tie, then the one who is senior in age will be given preference.
After the release of BHU LLB 2020 merit list, Banaras Hindu University will begin the counselling process which starts with sending of e-call letters to the qualifying students. BHU will issue call letters 2-4 times the available seats (the current intake is 230 seats). Qualifying candidates will be asked to produce all original documents related to educational qualifications and other certificates at the time of counselling. The seat allotment will strictly be based on merit of the candidate along with the available number of seats. The conducting body will conduct computerized counselling, with the process comprised of 3 steps.

Counselling process will start with the issue of call letters
Banaras Hindu University will release the BHU LLB 2020 cutoff list at the time of counselling. By consulting the cutoff of BHU LLB 2020, candidates can see what marks or rank they have to get to be in contention for a seat. Yes, you can change the preference on the day of counselling only. For this, you will have to request the Counseling Centre/Venue Incharge for change. Once you have signed and submitted the preference entry on the counselling date, it will be final and no further changes will be accepted.

The tentative date for the online form to be out is in the fourth week of January and will continue upto 11 march 2020. The admission is available only in online mode. Please check the eligibility criteria for your course before applying because each discipline has a different criteria.
The documents you would be needing for the examination are Admit card which would be published around 5th of May 2020, Aadhar card and any photo ID (for the candidates of J&K and Meghalaya).
The eligibility criteria for B.A. L.L.B. is that the candidate must have passed 10+2+3 or B.A.,

For L.L.B. the syllabus comprises of general knowledge, legal aptitude, mathematics and English.the test will be of 120 minutes with 150 questions where every question will carry 3 marks. Also, there is a negative marking of 1 mark for each question.

BHU conducts entrance exam for admission to its LLB course, the paper comprises of total 150 questions in MCQ form and each question is of 3 marks, which sums up the total marks of BHU LLB entrance to be 450. In BHU LLB Entrance Exam, The questions will be based on General Awareness and Current Affairs, Common Legal Knowledge, Aptitude and Mental Ability. The Paper will also include two sets of multiple choice questions on Language comprehension, one each in Hindi and English, where the candidate is required to answer either the Hindi language set or the English language set but not both.
