BLAT Exam Pattern 2020 - Banaras Hindu University will release BLAT 2020 exam pattern, which is an essential ingredient for candidates applying to BA LLB courses at the university. The exam pattern for BLAT 2020 will provide information such as number of questions, question type, subjects covered, marking scheme, etc. This information will help the candidate to prepare effectively for the BLAT exam. As per BLAT exam pattern, the exam will be of 120 minutes (two hours) duration and include 150 multiple-choice questions; each question will carry 3 marks for a total 450 marks. These questions will be based on general awareness and current affairs, legal aptitude and mental ability. 3 marks will be allotted every correct answer, 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer and no marks will be awarded for unattempted questions
The candidate is required to identify one correct answer and record it by darkening the appropriate oval in the answer sheet with Blue/Black Ball Point pen only. The answer will be treated incorrect if more than one oval is darkened or an oval is darkened improperly. Any other method of marking such as tick mark, cross mark, use of dot, line mark and half-filled oval or marks outside the oval shall not be evaluated.
Candidates appearing for BLAT must follow the following steps:
Go through the information provided on their question papers/answer booklet before they begin answering the questions.
Before beginning the answers, fill the required details on their answer sheet such as roll number, name, etc.
Respond to the questions in the desired form; encircle the right option by darkening it with a blue/black pen in the OMR sheet.
Avoid any other form of marking the answers such as ticking, crossing the circle, etc.
To avoid any misunderstandings and inconveniences, the candidates are required to keep the following in consideration for the exam day:
Keep two copies of the admit card in case one gets spoilt, misplaced, etc.
Electronic devices such as cell phones, calculator, smart watches, etc will not be permitted inside the exam hall.
Apart from the admit card, students should not carry any other document/sheet.
