Modalities of Online CLAT 2015 – Here are a few modalities of the most coveted law entrance exam –

  • CLAT 2015 is scheduled to be held in online mode on May 10

  • It’s the first time since inception of CLAT that the law entrance is being held in online mode

  • The two hours duration exam will begin at 3:00 pm

  • The online paper of the law entrance shall have 200 questions carrying a total of 200 marks

  • The 200 questions will cover five sections including English including Comprehensions, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Elementary mathematics with Numerical Ability, Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning

  • Each question shall have four options, where the candidates have to click against the most appropriate option among them through a mouse

  • While every correct answer will be awarded one mark, 0.25 marks will be deducted from total marks scored for every incorrect response

  • The answers can be reviewed and re-answered, left unanswered and marked for review

  • Candidates can also be able to move between the sections

  • Candidates can view the status of questions – Answered, Left Unanswered and Marked for Review through a panel on the computer screen showing the question numbers in different colour codes

What I need to do before CLAT Exam Day – Experts have suggested the following set of instructions to be followed on the day before CLAT 2015

Ensure to check your documents a day before – As you will be appearing for the most sought after law entrance on May 10, you won’t be happy in searching something at the eleventh hour. Experts have advised to check and verify your necessary documents related to CLAT 2015 including CLAT 2015 E-Admit Card, Identity Proof and other documents.

 

Stay calm – Panic won’t do any good for you as you are heading for CLAT on the next day. Staying calm is worth as you’ll be able to concentrate on the exam and tips to crack the same. A calm mind is the cool and confident one.

Leave the unprepared – Believe in your hard work and leave the sections or papers you haven’t practices or prepared yet. Preparation a night/day before the exam won’t be quite useful rather will lead you in situation of panic. Experts suggest to revise the prepared portions and not to start anything new.

Visit the exam centre – You don’t know how many hours it would take to reach the exam centre on May 10, therefore it is recommended by the exam experts to visit your exam centre personally a day before the exam. As you’ll visit your exam centre, you will have a fair idea about the directions and time to reach the centre. Moreover, visiting the exam centre personally a day before will help you in reaching time even on May 10.

CLAT 2015 is the most sought after law entrance exam for admissions to five-year integrated law programmes in 2164 seats distributed among 16 National Law Universities (NLUs). As per the official data, as many as 39686 applicants have registered for Online CLAT 2015.

Yes, ofcourse you should give CLAT entrance exam for Admission.when you are going to take an LLB course, CLAT is a mandatory thing for you.

And the University like NLU one of the top universities doesn't cooperate admissions without CLAT.

  • One should be 10+2 passed with 45%
  • SC/ST students must be passed with 40%
  • Maximum age for general candidates is 20

clat exam eligibility criteria is candidate need to pass 10+2 course from a recognized university with 45% marks (general category). candidate from any stream can apply for clat ug irrespective of their age, as age criteria has been removed by BCI. so you may apply for clat. hope I have solved your query.

Dear Aspirant,

CLAT is an entrance examination for admission in NLUs(NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITIES) for their undergraduate course . Its an offline-based exam, CLAT is conducted at around 40 centres around the country for admitting candidates to undergraduate law programs in the 21 participating NLUs.

The application form of CLAT 2020 is expected to be released around the 2nd week of January; candidates will have around 3 months time to submit the application form. The admit card of CLAT 2020 will be released around the 2nd week of May. CLAT 2020 will be of 2 hours duration and include 200 multiple-choice questions of 1 marks each; note each incorrect attempt will invite penalty of 0.25 marks.
