The CLAT 2020 exam will be of 200 marks and the topics will include logical reasoning, English comprehension, Legal aptitude, General knowledge and Elementary maths. The detailed marks distribution is given below.
Since every correct answer is awarded 1 marks and every incorrect answer will deduct 0.25 marks, one can use the formula given below.
CLAT Scores = Total numbers of Correct options*1 - Total number of incorrect responses*0.25
If the number of correct answers is 130 and incorrect answers is 30 then the total marks will be calculated as-
Total CLAT Marks = (130*1) - (30*0.25)
Therefore; Total marks = 130 - 7.5 = 122.5
The answer key will be released in two phases, provisional and final answer key.
There will be a window of 2 days for raising objections.
Every correct answer will fetch 1 mark while for every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted
After the release of the final answer key, no further objections or communication will be entertained by the conducting body.
After the release of CLAT answer key 2020, the conducting body will publish the CLAT 2020 result.
In such cases, the candidate is allowed to raise objections within 2 days of publish of provisional answer key.
Generally there are all correct question, still if any incorrect question appears in the CLAT 2020 exam, the marks of that will be given to all or none.
After the release of CLAT 2020 answer key, the conducting board will release the CLAT result and merit list based on the marks obtained by the candidates. This will be followed by counselling and admission process.
