CLAT Answer Key 2023 - The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the Final CLAT 2023 answer key on December 22, 2022. Candidates can submit their grievances against the final answer key and conduct of the CLAT 2023 from December 26 to December 29, 2022, in online mode. The direct link to raise objections against the CLAT 2023 is given below. The provisional answer key was released on December 18, 2022. As per the final answer key of UG-CLAT 2023, question number 144 (quantitative technique) has been withdrawn from the master question paper. In CLAT LLM, the answers of question number 47, 71 and 113 have been updated. Candidates can download the updated CLAT 2023 answer key online from - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The CLAT 2023 answer key 2023 mentions the official answers to the questions asked in the examination. Candidates can use the answer key to calculate their marks in CLAT 2023 and get an idea about their admission chances by comparing their scores with the previous year's cut-offs.

Candidates can use the official marking scheme to calculate their marks in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). As per the exam pattern of CLAT 2023, each question carries one mark, and each incorrect answer will invite a penalty of -0.25 marks.
CLAT marks = Total number of correct answers - (Total number of incorrect answers X 0.25)
100 correction answers and 25 incorrect attempts - CLAT marks = 100 - (20 X 0.25) = 96 marks
By using the provisional answer key, candidates can compare their marks with the previous year's CLAT cut offs to know their chances of admission to national law universities. Candidates looking for admission to the top three or four NLUs should score at least 100-105 marks. Whereas, for the top 5-6 NLUs. a good score in CLAT 2023 should be 95+.

The provisional answer key may have some incorrect answers or discrepancies. Therefore, candidates are given an opportunity to raise objections against the provisional key. Candidates who want to raise objections can use the CLAT examination portal to submit their requests.

Candidates have to pay Rs. 1000 per objection raised. The CLAT objection fee must be paid online, using the payment gateway. In case the grievances raised by the candidates are found to be genuine and accepted by the NLU Consortium, the objection fee will be refunded. It must be noted that objections raised in offline mode will not be entertained.

Yes, if the objections raised are found to be correct, the corrections will be made to the provisional answer key and the total score of candidates. The corrections will be made to the CLAT score of all candidates irrespective of who files the objections. The updated score be reflected in the final result.
After reviewing the objections raised by the candidates, the consortium will release the final answer key or notify the modification to the provisional answer key. The result of CLAT 2023 will be prepared based on the final answer key.
