CLAT Exam Pattern 2020 - The CLAT Consortium of NLUs have again changed the CLAT exam pattern for both UG and PG. As per the new exam pattern of CLAT 2020, the test will be conducted in online mode, new test centres will be issued to the candidates. The Common Law Admission Test will comprise of multiple choice type questions, from comprehension based passages. Further, the CLAT LLM will have 120 objective type question to be answered within 120 minutes. The changes in the exam pattern of CLAT 2020, include reducing the number of questions to 150 from 200 as asked earlier. The questions will be asked from Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning sections. What's new in CLAT exam pattern 2020?
- The number of questions has been reduced to 150 from an earlier figure of 200. There will be paragraphs of 450 words each. Each passage will be followed by 4-5 multiple choice type questions.
- The reduction in the number of questions has been done because "asking students to answer 200 questions in 120 minutes is not right as it puts students under a lot of mental stress" said Prof. Faizan Mustafa, Vice-Chancellor, NALSAR
- The standard of entrance test for CLAT - UG will be of 12th standard.
- Quantitative aptitude will be of class 10th standard.
- Under CLAT 2020 LLM, there will 120 objective type questions, the descriptive section and cut off bar has been removed.

Important - Only multiple choice type questions from Quantitative Techniques, English, Current Affairs, Deductive Reasoning and Logical Reasoning will be part of the paper for CLAT UG. The syllabus of CLAT PG will include questions from legal subjects.

Nothing is impossible. But practically, it is much harder to crack CLAT in just 40 days. But yes, if you are desperate towards your studies, then you can definitely crack it in just 40 days. To crack and to grab a seat in one of the top 5 NLUs, you need to word harder and harder. If you give your complete 40 days (without wasting a single minute) to it with proper dedication, then you can grab a seat in one of the top 5 NLUs.

Clat UG- Total 150 questions are asked.
- English with comprehension, Phrases. - almost 28 to 32 questions from English section.
- General Knowledge & Current Affairs - International Affairs, Historical events- 35 to 39 questions from this section.
- Quantitative Techniques - basic mathematics of till class 10, Graphs, basic algebra- 13 to 17 questions.
- Logical Reasoning- 28 to 32 questions from here.

Law of Contracts; International Law; Criminal Law includes labour and industrial law, Public international law, Company law; Intellectual Property Law means Tax Law, Environmental law; Jurisprudence; Law of Torts and Constitutional Law includes Administrative law, family law and property law.
60 questions from Constitutional law and 60 questions from the rest of the syllabus. A total of 120 questions with 1 mark for each question. All questions are objective type. 0.25 marks will be deducted for wrong response.

You should focus on the percentile and rank . You should try to be in the top 25 . As December is going to end your previous 5 mocks should be in the range of 100–110 at least . Make sure you give all the mocks and analyze them properly
