CLAT Result 2020 - National University Of Study And Research In Law (NUSRL), Ranchi will declare the result of CLAT 2020 in online mode around the second week of June 2020. The CLAT 2020 result would be released in the form of score card that will contain details like the marks, All India Rank (AIR) and Category Rank (CR) obtained by the candidate in the CLAT 2020 exam. To check CLAT result 2020, candidates need to go to the result portal and log-in using their registration/application number and date of birth. The marks obtained by candidates in the CLAT 2020 entrance exam will be used for preparing the merit list of CLAT 2020. Candidates who have higher scores will be placed higher in the merit list; alternately, candidates will lower scores will be ranked low.
The CLAT 2020 merit list will be released tentatively in the 2nd week of June 2020. In fact there will be a total of three CLAT merit list 2020, one for each of the three rounds of counselling that will be held.
In the event two or more candidates scoring the same marks in CLAT 2020 entrance, exam officials will follow the following tie-breaking methodology to break the deadlock:
The candidate with higher marks in “Legal Aptitude” section of CLAT 2020 will be ranked higher
If tie is undecided, the candidate senior in age will be ranked higher
Finally, the tie will be decided by the computerized draw of lots.

The counselling of CLAT 2020 will be conducted in online mode sometime in June for candidates who are included in the merit list. Eligible candidates are advised to download and get a printout of the counselling call letter. The candidate has to next get registered for counselling on the scheduled day, participate in choice filling and locking. CLAT 2020 seat allotment will be based on both the merit rank and choices opted by the candidate.
Candidates will be able to check the cutoff of CLAT 2020 at the time of or after counselling. The CLAT 2020 cutoff will be released separately for all the twenty-one (21) CLAT 2020 participating institutes and will be category specific. Considering the CLAT cutoff 2020 will not be available before conduct of CLAT 2020 exam, applicants may refer to previous years’ cutoff trends to get an idea as to what kind of rank they need to score in order to stand a chance at admission.

But still to answer your question, according to some statistics, a good amount of 4–5 hours a day can help you get into a tier 1 college, but those hours should be with complete dedication and for 5-6 months.

CLAT is for both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. For CLAT PG, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Law. But because your highest qualification is BA and that is not a law degree, you are not eligible for CLAT PG. But now talking about CLAT UG, you need to have completed your 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45%. It is 45% for General Category and 40% for Reserved Categories.
