CLAT Seat Allotment 2020 - National University of Study, Research and Law, Ranchi will release its first seat allotment for CLAT 2020 list around the second week of May, 2020. The second and third list for CLAT seat allotment 2020 will be released tentatively in the fourth week of June, 2020. It is to be noted that all the lists for CLAT 2020 seat allotment will be released online. CLAT seat allotment 2020 is a process by which involves student counselling for admission to 21 participating National Law Universities (NLUs) across the nation. The admission to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses will be based on the seat allotment of CLAT 2020 and merit cum preference basis. However, only those students will be called for the CLAT counselling who will make it to the CLAT 2020 merit list. By referring to CLAT 2020 seat allotment, candidates can keep a track of the allocated seats in each NLU for different law programmes through counselling which will be held in three rounds. The shortlisted candidates for CLAT 2020 seat allotment will be required to carry the following documents:

The seat allotment for CLAT 2020 will be conducted by the National University of Study, Research and Law, Ranchi for admission into the undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes.
There will be three rounds in which CLAT Seat Allotment 2020 will be conducted by the CLAT Committee.
Candidates will be given admissions to law programmes on the basis of CLAT 2020 Merit List.
If a candidate is being allotted an NLU, he/she was required to deposit a counselling fee of Rs. 50,000 for locking the allotted seat.
In any case, the candidate fails to deposit the counselling fee, his/her name and candidature will be dropped from CLAT 2020 merit list.
After certain candidates deposit the counselling fee amount, the CLAT Committee will release the allotment list.
If any candidate withdraws before the last date, only INR 10,000 will be deducted as the processing fee. INR 40,000 will be returned. But if the candidate withdraws after the last date of withdrawal, then the amount deposited will not be refunded.

Qualifying exam: The candidate must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognised university or board.
Marks in qualifying exam: General category candidates need minimum 45% marks in the qualifying exam, while SC and ST candidates need only 40% marks.
Age limit: There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT 2020

As per my knowledge, to get admission in IFIM Law college in Bangalore, you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria, which includes that the candidate must qualify either of the entrance exams (CLAT, LSAT, AILET or ILAT).
Also, the applicant should have passed PUC with atleast 45% marks.
CLAT is the entrance exam for the admission to 5 years Integrated law program & LLM (PG) program. CLAT is not for the admission to three years law program, If you want to apply for CLAT entrance exam then you can apply as there is no any age limit.
