DU LLB Participating Institutes 2020 - Delhi University will release the list of DU LLB 2020 participating institutes on the exam information brochure. The participating institutes of DU LLB 2020 are likely to be the three law centres of the University - Law Centre 1, Law Centre 2 and Campus Law centre. Admission into 3 year LLB programme offered by the participating institutes or law centres will be based on the scores of DU LLB entrance test which is conducted every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The DU LLB 2020 participating institutes offer 974 seats in each centre for a combined intake of 2922 seats.

DU LLB Participating Institutes 2020 - Admission Procedure

DU LLB is a 3-year law course and the entrance exam for this will be conducted by NTA. There will be a common admission process for all participating institutes of DU LLB 2020. The admission into DU LLB Colleges will strictly be based on the eligibility criteria for DU LLB 2020 and candidate’s performance in DU LLB 2020 exam.

Counselling and Seat Allotment in DU LLB Participating Institutes 2020

After the declaration of DU LLB result 2020, candidates who will receive call letters will be asked to participate in offline counselling. The exact schedule for counselling will be released on the official website of Delhi University. The counselling process would include seat allotment, which will be done on the basis of the merit rank of the candidate and choices opted for admission. As part of the counselling process, candidates will be required to verify their documents related to educational qualifications and other certificates. delhi university has only english as the language of llb course study. professors will take class on english version. if you are from hindi medium in 10+2 course or in graduation you may face little difficulty at first, but if you every day read some news paper on english and do watch english news channel, you may overcome the rigidness over english.

DU Direct Admission without Sports Trials

Candidates aspiring to take admission in DU through sports quota can take direct admission without appearing for sports trials if they have represented India in either of the following sports leagues:

Olympic Games by International Olympic Committee (IOC)

Asian Games by the Olympic Council of Asia

World Championship/ World Cup by International Sports Federations (ISF)

Asian Championships by International Sports Federations (ISF)

Commonwealth Games by Commonwealth Games Federations (CGF)

South Asian Games (SAG) by South Asian Sports Council (SASC)

Paralympic Games by International Paralympic Committee (IPC)

DU Admission on the basis of Sports Trials

Candidates who have not represented the country in either of the above sports competitions will have to appear for sports trials in order to secure admission under sports quota.

DU Sports Quota Admission Application Procedure

You will have to fill the DU application form through the official university website.

Apply through the sports quota and upload your Sport Certificate on the DU admission portal.

DU Sports Quota Selection Process

DU gives 40% weightage to the sports certificate and 60% weightage to the sports trials of the game for which the candidate has received the certificate.

The sports trial will include Sport Specific Fitness, Overall Playing Ability and Fundamental Skills.

Marks for the sports trial will be awarded out of 60 and candidates will have to score at least 30 marks (i.e. 50%) in order to qualify for admission through sports quota.

Candidates applying for sports quota must also be eligible on the basis of age to participate in inter-university competitions of DU for the next three years of their course duration.

Also, candidates must not be employed either part-time or full-time while pursuing UG courses at DU through sports quota.

Games or Sports that are played across the colleges and during inter-college and inter-university competitions at DU will be given preference.

Yes, you can apply for LLB after 12th . You may either choose BA LLB or BBA LLB five year integrated undergraduate program. You need to give the entrance examination for getting admission. Every college conducts their own entrance examination.

The candidates those who are interested to do after +2 they have to choose 5 years LAW, For this they have to appear entrance exams( Like CLAT , AILET, HPNLET, LET, etc.) and at least score 55% in class +2.

Delhi University LLB Entrance Examination is conducted for admitting candidates to the 3-year law program offered by the university.

Eligibility criteria to appear for the exam is as follows:

  • The aspirant needs to have passed graduate or postgraduate exam from University of Delhi or an equivalent university.
  • Candidates belonging to the general category need to have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam or an equivalent grade to be eligible for admission.
