The preparation strategy of any examination is largely affected by the marking system of the examination. In this case, the LSAT India result is depicted in percentile. However, this percentile is not calculated in the regular format, i.e, marks obtained by total marks. This percentile score is basically a comparison of the performance of a candidate to the rest of the candidates in his/her candidate group. The following example will help you to understand the marking system better.

Example - Suresh scored 79% in LSAT India 2019 for 5-year LLB

Explanation - Suresh performed better than 79% of the candidates who had appeared for LSAT India 2019 for 5-year LLB.

The score obtained by Suresh cannot be compared to the candidates who have appeared for the examination conducted for LLM or 3-year LLB programme. They simply compare Suresh to the rest of the candidates who had appeared for the entrance test for 5-year LLB.

is there any difference between LSAT and LSAT india exam

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 6th Nov, 2019

LSAT is technically the entrance examination for law courses in the United States. LSAT India is an unique version of LSAT, for admission in India. It is administered by Law School Admission Council. LSAT India has 2 Logical Reasoning sections,, one Analytical Reasoning and another Reading Comprehension section. Unlike the original LSAT, there are no experimental sections and no writing sample. Therefore, LSAT India is of lesser duration than that of LSAT.
