The first session of Law School Admission Test - India will be held in January 2023 (Jan session exam). Law School Admission Council, often known as LSAC, administers the LSAT India (Law School Admission Test - India). Candidates who pass the LSAT India 2023 exam will be qualified to enroll in UG/PG and integrated legal programmes at law schools.
Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria set out by each law institution independently in order to be eligible for the course. Even if they passed the LSAT-India 2023, candidates who do not meet the requirements of the college chosen for admission would be disqualified.
The course-wise eligibility criteria for LSAT-India 2023 exam are as follows:
Educational qualification
The candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized board.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also eligible for appearing in LSAT India 2023.
Age limit
There is no age limit for appearing in the LSAT-India 2023 exam
Educational qualification
Aspirants should possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with at least 45% marks.
Candidates who are in their final year of graduation programmes are also eligible for appearing in LSAT-India 2023 exam
Age limit
There is no age limit prescribed for taking admission into 3-year LLB programmes.
LSAT India eligibility criteria 2023 for LLM
The candidates must have passed 3 year LLB or 5-year LLB degree with at least 45% aggregate marks from a recognized institute or university.
Candidates who are in their final year of graduation are also eligible to take admission in LLM programme.
Step by step registration process for LSAT India 2023 is as follows:
To fill out the application form, candidates have to visit the official website - discoverlaw.in. The application form for LSAT-India 2023 is expected to be released in November 2022.
On the official website, applicants first need to register by entering some of the basic details like name, email address, phone number, ID proff, etc.
Once registered, they may access the main application form of LSAT-India 2023 after signing in.
Then, in the main application form, candidates have to provide their complete educational, personal, and contact details.
The candidates have to upload the scanned images of their passport-size coloured photograph along with their signature.
Candidates must make sure that all the information entered by them is correct.
After that, the aspirants have to pay the required application fee.
In the end, candidates need to take a print of the application form as well as of the fee receipt.
The application fee is the same for all the candidates i.e. Rs. 3800/-. Candidates can pay the registration fee online using a credit card/ debit card/ net banking.

The LSAT-India 2023 exam will be held in an offline mode.
Anyone can apply for LSAT-India 2023 exam who wants to pursue a 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB or LLM programme.
Candidates who have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution with at least 45% marks are eligible along with the candidates who are appearing in the qualifying examination.
To get admission in the National Law Universities a candidate is required to appear for CLAT or AILET. There are private institutions that accept CLAT AILET and LSAT-India scores.
LSAT-India does not provide any age bar.
