Unlike other entrance test result, LSAT India result is released in a scale band of 420 - 480 and percentile basis. In percentile form, the result of LSAT India 2020, will be prepared by comparing each candidate’s performance with others from that group.
For eg. If a candidate secures 80% percentile, this doesn’t mean that the candidate has answered 80% of the questions correctly. Rather, the percentile score will indicate that the candidate has performed better than 80% of candidates from his group (LLB/LLM). The scores of a candidate from one group will not be compared with the candidates from other groups. Thus, the LSAT India scores will highlight candidates’ relative position in the test.
The conducting body has not prescribed any specific marking scheme. Accordingly, the candidate will receive credit for the correct answer and there will be no negative marking in the entrance test.
