CLAT 2020 will be conducted on May 10, in offline mode. A total of 22 NLUs are coming together for the Common Law Admission Test. Seats will be offered on the basis of merit cum preference.

Overall the all participating NLUS will together offer more than 2300 undergraduate law seats and around 724 seats in LLM or postgraduate law programmes. The seats are further distributed on the basis of reservation policy of the particular NLU.

Candidates applying for CLAT application form 2020 will have to provide their preference for different NLUs. The preference given at the time of filling the application form will be considered at the time of seat allotment and counselling rounds.
There are 22 NLUs that are participating in CLAT 2020.
The NLSIU, Bangalore offers BA LLB and LLM programmes.
For BA LLB course, the course fee for first year is Rs.2,62,000.00.
The BRANLU, Sonipat offers BA LLB programme through CLAT.

NUSRL will conduct CLAT 2020 in offline mode on 10th May, 2020.
Application process has commenced from 1st January and 31st March is the last date.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate needs to pass 10+2 from a recognized university with 45% for Generals, for SC/ST it's 40%. There's no upper age limit. Those appearing in 2020 for class 12th too are eligible.
There has been a pattern change this time, and the number of questions have been reduced from 200 to 150.
CLAT Syllabus now comprised of the following:
English including comprehension
General knowledge and current affairs
Elementary mathematics (numerical ability)
CLAT syllabus has been changed and to give you a gist of the changed syllabus,
The no.of questions asked will be reduced from 200 to 120/125 but the time duration will be the same
English: There will be no more direct vocabulary questions
GK: Static GK will be removed and only your knowledge on current affairs will be tested
Mathematics: Only DI based questions.
Logical Reasoning: More emphasis on critical reasoning questions
Legal Aptitude: No Legal GK questions but the reasoning questions will remain.
We do not yet have sample papers as this is the first year.
CLAT is necessary to take admission in Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) and the university provides for reservation to J&K Migrants, but you will have to give CLAT in order to get admission in GNLU, however, it is not compulsory to give CLAT if you want to take admission in any other university in Gujarat. You have not provided the specific university/college in which you want to apply, i would suggest you check the website of the university you wish to apply and check the entrance criteria of that university.
