NUSRL, Ranchi will officially release CLAT syllabus tentatively during the 3rd or last weeks of December 2019. But based on previous years' syllabus, this answer is being written. CLAT LLM syllabus has various sections such as Constitutional Law, Law of Torts, International Law, Jurisprudence, Intellectual Property law, Law of Contracts and Criminal Law. Constitutional law refers to the rights states and implemented in the Federal and State Constitutions. Law of Torts in common law jurisdictions is a civil wrong that causes a claimant to suffer loss or harm resulting in legal liability for the person who is accused of committing the act. Now Constitutional laW carries 50 marks and so books by VN Shukla, Brij Kishore Sharma and JN Pandey are must reads. For Jurisprudence, books by VD Mahajan and Mani Tripathi are the best in the market. This is a tough subject, carries 50 marks and so try checking guides available on this subject in the local book stores as well. For the rest of the subjects, followclat ll Singhal's solved CLAT papers and gather as much information as possible from Internet for your preparation
