Aptitude for Law
The syllabus of PU BA LLB 2020 will include all topics within a subject from which questions will be framed. The official information bulletin does not provide the detailed syllabus so candidates can refer to the PU BA LLB syllabus given below. The syllabus given below is derived from the previous year papers so candidates may refer to this for putting their preparation in right order.
History, Geography, General Science, Economics, polity (Only up to intermediate level)
Current events of national and international importance, sports, new appointments, awards etc.
Judiciary, executive, legislature, constitution, legal prepositions and facts, legal words etc.
Directions, series, blood relations analogy, critical reasoning, syllogism etc.
Vocabulary, analogies, idioms and phrases, synonyms, antonyms, sentence improvement and rearrangement, fill in the blanks, one-word substitution, etc.

Along with syllabus of PU BA LLB and exam pattern candidates will need the books and study material. PU BA LLB is an undergraduate level entrance test, so candidates should be clear of what they need to study; relevant books up to intermediate level.

Revise whatever you are reading in regular intervals, with proper revision, the preparation will get a boost. During the last few days before PU BA LLB, give maximum time to revision.

As of 2019, the 3 law centres of PU BA LLB together are offering a total of 360 seats. But, the availability of seats is subject to change as the university may add some seats in future.
Generally, candidates start their preparation right after class 11th, and it is considered an ideal time for PU BA LLB preparation. However, the candidates who are well aware of the basics of PU BA LLB can cover the entire syllabus within 5-6 months.
Legal aptitude requires knowledge of constitution, political science (Indian polity) and current events related to Indian Judiciary, Executive and Legislature. Read the intermediate level books of relevant sections along with daily newspaper. Candidates should also refer to any standard book for legal aptitude as available for CLAT and other law entrance exams.
As per the exam pattern of PU BA LLB, General knowledge and current affairs section will cover 60 marks out of 100, thus carrying the maximum weightage. This will be followed by legal aptitude which will have a bearing of 20 marks.
