TS LAWCET Eligibility Criteria 2023 - Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) prescribes the eligibility criteria of TS LAWCET 2023 for candidates who wish to appear in the entrance exam. The TS LAWCET 2023 eligibility criteria will include the educational qualification, minimum marks requirement, and age limit. Candidates must meet the TS LAWCET 2023 eligibility criteria to avoid the disqualification for admission to the participating institutes. TS LAWCET 2023 will be conducted for admission to 5-year LLB programme, 3-year LLB programme and LLM programme offered by law colleges in Telangana. Candidates looking to sit for the TS LAWCET and TS PGLCET exam should check their eligibility before applying for the exam. The eligibility criteria for TS LAWCET 2023 changes depending on the type of programme selected for admission. Candidates can check the course wise eligibility criteria below.
TS LAWCET eligibility criteria 2023

Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination (Class 12/Final year of graduation) are eligible to apply for TS LAWCET 2023. Such candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria of TS LAWCET 2023 before the commencement of counselling, failing which they will not be considered for admission to the law programmes.
In case, a candidate secures less than 45%, 42% and 40% respectively in graduation degree, he should secure the same percentage or more in any postgraduation or B.Ed. in aggregate.
The percentage of 44.5% and above for general categories, 41.5% or above for OBC category and 39.5% and above for SC/ST category candidates in aggregate in graduation (10+2+3 or 10+2 pattern) will be considered as 45%,42% and 40% of aggregate marks respectively for admission into LLB 3-year and 5-year programmes.
The OBC candidates applying for the TS LAWCET 2023 will have to submit their OBC certificate issued by the competent authority to support 42% of aggregate marks in the graduation.
The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination in single sitting without undergoing three years course either through regular or private or correspondence and those who obtained the degree through open university directly are not eligible to apply for TS LAWCET 2023.
As per the latest instructions issued by Bar Council of India, there shall be no age restriction for the candidates sitting in TS LAWCET 2023 exam for admission to 3-year or 5-year LL.B programmes.
Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) prescribes the following criteria for qualifying TS LAWCET 2023:
Candidates will have to secure the 35% as minimum marks in the TS LAWCET entrance test 2023 (42 marks out of a total of 120 marks).
There will be no minimum qualifying mark for SC and ST candidates.
Candidates should note that merely qualifying in the TS LAWCET entrance test does not entitle them admission to law programme unless the candidate:
i. Appears for TS LAWCET 2023 counselling at the notified centres.
ii. Applies in response to the admission notification issued by the authority concerned; and
iii. Satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority.
The rank of the candidates will be issued along with the TS LAWCET 2023 result. As per the notification issued by TSCHE, the candidates will be ranked in the order of merit based on the marks obtained in the TS LAWCET 2023.
In case of tie, the relative rank will be decided as mentioned below:
(i) Marks secured in Part C of TS LAWCET will be considered and if the tie still persists marks obtained in Part B of the exam shall be taken into consideration.
(ii) If the tie still persists they may be bracketed together for the purpose of ranking and seniority in age may be considered at the time of admission.
Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) release the application form of TS LAWCET on its official examination portal. The application fees to appear in the exam is Rs. 800 for OC and BCs and Rs. 500 for SC/ST and PH candidates. Candidates can register and fill out the application form online, at the official portal of the TSCHE. The TS LAWCET 2023 application process includes steps such as online registration, and uploading documents and fee payment.

Candidates are required to to score equal to or more than 45% marks in qualifying exam (42% for OBC, 40% for SC/ST candidates).
For admission to 3-year LLB, the minimum qualification is graduation degree and for 5-year LLB, the minimum qualification is 10+2.
As per the latest instructions issued by Bar Council of India, there shall be no age restriction for the candidates seeking admission into 3-year or 5-year LL.B programme, through appearing at TS LAWCET 2023.
The candidates appearing in the qualifying examination can apply for TS LAWCET 2023 on a condition that they fulfil the eligibility criteria at the time of admission by providing all necessary documents and certificates in support of their candidature.

As we can see the results of TS Lawcet were out on 17 August 2022 and the cutoffs would be declared in the last week of August or in the first week of September. As you didn't specify which category you belong to, I will be telling you the last rank at which seats for the general category closed last year and I'll provide you with the link for checking the cutoffs of the previous year.
According to your rank, you can get the following colleges as per the 2021 cutoffs-
1. ADARSHA LAW COLLEGE - closed at 1621 rank for general boy
2. ANANNTHA LAW COLLEGE - closed at 1431 rank
3. AURORA'S LEGAL SCIENCES ACADEMY - closed at 1420 rank

5. MAHATMA GANDHI LAW COLLEGE - closed at 1541 rank
