Law system of a country defines how systematic a country will work with peace, rules, and regulations. Without a law and judicial system, the crime rates will take a major hike and will result in disturbing the peace of the whole country. So, law is indeed especially important for every country. Law courses are also available via online courses. For someone who wants a distance learning from a college located in a different city, can opt for distance learning. There are few colleges in all over India which provide distance law courses. Other than that, there are many websites which provide online certificate or diploma courses for Law.

Law Colleges in Hyderabad: Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for any Law college, a student should know the eligibility criteria of law colleges or universities. Eligibility criteria means, there are certain terms and conditions which a student needs to fulfill before applying for the college. If the student can fulfill all the eligibility criteria, then only he or she will be able to apply for the law college.
Below we have mentioned some common eligibility criteria which needs to be fulfilled by students for applying to law colleges: -
For Undergraduate Courses: -
Undergraduate course means bachelors course or programs for Law studies.
The eligibility criteria for Undergraduate program in Law are as follows -
The students need to complete their 10+2 examination from a recognized board.
It is not necessary to pursue any one stream in 10+2 for Law, but it is preferable to have a backing of arts stream.
The student needs to score at least 45 % in their 10+2 examination or boards examination.
For Postgraduate Courses: -
The student needs to complete their bachelor's degree or undergraduate course for applying to a postgraduate law program.
The student needs to acquire at least 50% in their bachelor’s examination.
It should be noted that apart from these, there can be also other eligibility criteria which different colleges may demand.
Law Colleges in Hyderabad Admission Process
Admission process means the step or procedure every college follows while giving admission to students -
For Undergraduate Courses: -
The student needs to fulfill all the eligibility criteria stated by the college.
After which the student needs to note in prior basis what are the main admission processes which are followed by top colleges.
In India, there are two major admission processes, one is Entrance exam and other one is Merit basis.
In law colleges or universities providing law courses, the admission is generally taken through entrance exams. Since we are seeing law colleges in Hyderabad (City in Telangana), two main entrance exams for law courses in Hyderabad are CLAT and TS LAWCET. CLAT is a national based entrance exam for Law aspirants and TS LAWCET is state level exam for Telangana law colleges.
The student needs to give an entrance exam for getting admission into a law college who follows the entrance exam admission process. After appearing for the entrance exam, a few days later results are announced, and colleges also declare their cutoff. Students who can pass the cutoff of a particular college will get a seat or admission into that college. It should be noted that every college has a different benchmark or cutoff.
Very few colleges in India may give admission on merit basis. Merit basis means the college gives admission based on percentage or percentile obtained in 10+2 examinations or boards examination.
For Postgraduate Courses: -
The admission process for Postgraduate law courses is very similar to the Undergraduate admission process.
It is compulsory to give an entrance exam for getting admission to a master’s course.
Entrance exams for postgraduate law courses are generally CLAT and for state level entrance exam of Telangana, it is TS PGLCET.
After appearing for the entrance exam, a few days later, results are announced, and colleges also declare their cutoff. Students who can pass the cutoff of a particular college will get a seat or admission into that college. It should be noted that every college has a different benchmark of cutoffs.
