ACLAT 2023 Exam - Dates, Application, Eligibility, Syllabus & Exam Pattern, Result

Alliance Common Law Admission Test commonly known ACLAT is an entrance exam conducted by Alliance University, Bangalore for admissions to one year LLM course. Candidates who have completed their LLB graduation with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category candidates) are eligible to apply for ACLAT 2023.

The ACLAT 2023 application form has been released in online mode. The last date to submit the ACLAT 2023 application form is August 10, 2023. Candidates may register and submit the application form at the official admission portal of the university. The ACLAT 2023 application fee is Rs 1000 for Indian candidates, for NRI and SAARC national candidates, the application fee of ACLAT is Rs 2000. Meanwhile, foreign national applicants will have to pay 50$ as an application fee.

Alliance Common Law Admission Test (ACLAT) a two-hour duration paper will have 200 questions of one mark each. The Alliance University follows a negative marking scheme where 0.25 marks for every wrong answer will be deducted from the total score.

Based on the ACLAT results, a rank list will be published, which will be the basis for the Personal Interview round, upon which a final merit list will be announced. This year, Alliance University is offering 120 seats in the LLM programme.

The Eligibility Criteria of ACLAT 2023 mentions the minimum academic qualification and age bar required to appear in the test and take admission to the LLM programme. Only after fulfilling the eligibility criteria of ACLAT, candidates should fill the application form. the candidature of ineligible candidates will be rejected. The ACLAT 2023 eligibility criteria are mentioned below.

• Candidates need to pass 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with 45% marks in aggregate (40% marks for SC/ST candidates).

• The candidate should have completed 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB graduation with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category candidates), from a university recognized by Bar Council of India.

Alliance University has released the application form for ACLAT 2023 in online mode. Eligible candidates may register for ACLAT 2023 by proving their personal details, educational qualifications, communication details etc. Candidates can fill their ACLAT 2023 application form till August 10, 2023.

Candidates are advised to fill in all the details carefully as no rectifications could be possible once the form has been submitted. After successful filling of the application form for 2023, candidates will be required to remit a prescribed application fee using the available payment options. The ACLAT application fee is Rs. 1000 and can be paid using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking.

Application Fees

The ACLAT 2023 will be conducted in online mode. The test paper will consist of multiple-choice type questions, each carrying one mark. As per the ACLAT exam pattern, candidates will be asked questions from legal subjects such as Constitutional law, Law of Torts, Law of Contracts, IPC, current legal issues etc.

Alliance University will release the admit card of ACLAT 2023 in online mode for the candidates appearing for the law examination. The law aspirants will be required to enter their Registration Number and Date of Birth to download ACLAT 2023 Admit card as and when available.

How to download admit card of ACLAT 2023

• Click on the admit card download link
• Next enter the registration number and date of birth to log-in
• The ACLAT admit card will be displayed on the screen
• After downloading the admit card, take a printout

Alliance University will announce the result of ACLAT 2023 soon after the conduct of the test. Candidates will get access of the ACLAT 2023 Result in online mode through their registered accounts by entering their registration number of ACLAT 2023 and Date of Birth.

How to check ACLAT 2023 result

• Click on the result link
• The candidate will be directed to a log-in window 
• Enter log-in credentials
• Upon log-in, the ACLAT 2023 result would be displayed on screen
• Download and take a printout of the result.

Mode of Counselling: Offline

Candidates who qualify in the ACLAT LLM entrance exam will be invited to participate in personal interview rounds. Eligible candidates have to report in person for the interview round of ACLAT 2023 on the assigned day

Along with the interview, the institute will also conduct ACLAT counselling. Candidates will have to carry originals of all essential documents and also the counselling call letter. At the time of counselling, the candidate will get their documents verified; any candidate who fails the document verification process will get disqualified.

The allotment of seats during ACLAT 2023 counselling will be based on the merit rank of the candidate and choices one has opted for admission.
