About AIL LET 2023
AIL LET 2023: Army Institute of Law (AIL), Mohali has released the AIL LET application form 2023 on April 5, 2023. Candidates can fill the application form of AIL LET 2023 till May 16, 2023, without late fees, AIL LET 2023 exam will be conducted on June 24, 2023. Candidates who have passed Class 12 or are set to appear in the board exams can apply for admission to the 5-year integrated BA LLB programme offered by the institute. The AIL LET registration fee is Rs 3000 for all categories. AIL LET 2023 will be conducted in online mode. The AIL LET question paper will have questions from topics such as general knowledge, current affairs, maths and legal awareness. All candidates who register for AIL LET 2023 will receive the admit cards a few days before the examination. The admit card of AIL LET 2023 is a mandatory document for appearing for the law entrance exam and it will also inform about the candidate's roll number, exam centre location and address.
What is AIL LET exam?
The Army Institute of Law offers a 5-year integrated BA LLB programme through an entrance test popularly known as AIL LET. The institute also offers an LLM programme through AIL LET PG. The entrance exam is conducted in online mode, at the designated test centres across the country. The online-based AIL LET is a two-hour-long test consisting of 200 MCQ-based questions. Candidates are shortlisted based on their AIL LET scores for counselling and admission.

AIL LET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for AIL LET 2023 must meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the institute. The AIL LET eligibility criteria 2023 contains information on the qualifying exam passed, minimum marks in the qualifying exam, and age limit. The complete details of AIL LET eligibility criteria are as mentioned below.
Educational Qualifications
Qualifying exam: The candidates need to have passed 10+2 exam from Punjab School Education Board or an equivalent exam recognised by Punjabi University, Patiala.
Marks in qualifying exam: The minimum aggregate marks in the qualifying exam should be 45%.
Open University: Candidates who have completed 10+2 through the Open University system directly without having any basic qualifications for pursuing such studies, are not eligible.
Compartment papers: Candidates who have passed 10+2 in compartments are not eligible for admission.
Provisional application: Applicants appearing in the qualifying exam in March/ April can take AIL LET 2023, but provisionally. Such candidates need to pass the 10+2 examination with minimum qualifying marks for AIL LET 2023.
Age limit
There is no age limit for appearing in the AIL LET 2023 exam or pursuing BA LLB or LLM programmes from the institute.

Mode of Counselling: Offline
The institute will conduct the counselling of AIL LET 2023 in online mode. Only those candidates who qualify AIL LET 2023 exam and are included in the merit list will be invited for the counselling. AIL LET Counselling process: Document submission, verification and admission

To get into Army Institute of Law, you need to give AIL LET entrance exam conducted by the College. The tentative dates for the release of application forms was from 3rd week of April, 2020 and the last date was to be 2nd week of May, 2020. But, the forms are delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Yes you can apply for AIL CET in case of a compartment in 12th but you have to make sure that you clear your compartment exam otherwise your seat will not be alloted to you.
You must have the qualification of 12th in order to give AIL CET. So start preparing for your compartment exam if you want a seat in the college after clearing AIL CET
