About AILET PG 2021
The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) PG is a national level exam conducted by Delhi University for the admissions to its LLM course and PhD courses. AILET 2021 will be conducted on June 20, from 10 am - 11:30 am in offline pen and paper mode across all the major cities in the country. AILET PG 2021 will have 150 objective type questions to be asked from various subjects such as Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Law of Contract, Jurisprudence, Law of Tort, and International Law etc. Each objective type question will carry 1 mark; there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer. The duration of the test will be 90 minutes.
Seats intake for LLM program
The LLM program has an intake capacity of 70 seats that will be filled based on AILET 2021 scores. Further, there are 10 additional seats for foreign nationals.
National Law University, Delhi has notified the application . As per the notification, the online AILET PG 2021 application form will be released in January at nludelhi.ac.in.

Candidates desirous of admission to LLM program at NLU Delhi must meet the prescribed AILET PG 2021 eligibility criteria. AILET PG eligibility criteria 2021
Qualifying exam: The candidate needs to be a L.L.B graduate from a recognized university recognized by Bar Council of India
Marks in qualifying exam: The candidates must have scored minimum 55% marks in the qualifying degree exam
Relaxation: Reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category are eligible for 5 percent relaxation in minimum marks
Those appearing in qualifying exam: Such candidates who are appearing in final year L.L.B examination may also apply
Age: No age bar is prescribed for admission to LLM program

Admission authorities will release the online application form of AILET PG 2021 in January. Eligible candidates have to duly fill and submit the application form before the last date. The applicant must take note to use only genuine and verifiable information for filling the application form as otherwise the candidature of the candidate may be cancelled at any stage of the admission process.

Steps to fill AILET application form 2021
- To start the application process, the applicant had to first get registered by entering details like email id, mobile number, and date of birth.
- The candidate will also have to select and confirm a password for the new candidate account.
- Next the candidate has to select the program of study from the drop-down menu and lock the application.
- Fill in the application, including personal and academic details
- Upload signature and photograph
- Pay the application fee
- Submit the form.

NLU Delhi will declare the result of AILET PG 2021 on its official website; the link to download the result will be updated on this page once it is available. The result will be declared for all candidates who have appeared in the offline exam in online mode in downloadable PDF format.
AILET PG 2021 result will contain the following details:

- Sectional and total marks scored in the examination
- Qualifying status
Candidates who qualify in the examination will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process.
The cutoff of AILET PG 2021 would be category-specific and indicate the last ranks for which candidates are given admission to the LLM course in their respective categories. AILET 2021 cutoff will be determined based on various parameters like number of applications applying for admission, seat intake, performance of applicants in the exam, and also the category to which the applicant belongs.
Applicants are advised to go through previous years' cutoff data to get an idea as to how much they need to score in their respective categories to get admission.
Mode of Counselling: Offline
Candidates who qualify in the AILET PG exam and are included in the merit list can participate in AILET PG 2021 counselling process, which will be conducted in offline mode at the university campus. Eligible candidates will have to report in person on the designated day along with all prescribed documents, including originals and photocopies.
Document verification would be a big part of the counselling process, and all candidates are required to successfully complete the process. Those whose verification fails would be out of the admission process.

what is the mode of AILET Pg exam offline or online?
The AILET PG Exam 2020 will be conducted by the National Law University, Delhi. The exam will be taken on the 26th of September 2020. It will be a centre- based online exam which means, candidates will have to go to the assigned centre to give the test which will be conducted in the CBT mode.
Can you please confirm the status of total seats for LLM this year? News reports say that seats have increased to 120, NCR reservation stayed, OBC reservation removed. NLU official website doesnt mentions reservation for OBC & EWS. Kindly confirm. Thanks

Total no. of seats offered for admission in 2020 is 2175. For UG programmes are 1308. The number of seats available for the special category is 325. The total number of seats offered to the candidates of the state where the NLUs are located is 621.
