About AILET 2023
AILET 2023 - The National Law University (NLU), Delhi has released second AILET BA LLB merit list on January 6, 2023 based on the available vacancies. The candidates listed in the second provisional BA LLB merit list will have to pay a sum of Rs. 50,000.00 as provisional admission confirmation fee on or before January 11, 2023, Wednesday. Earlier, the first AILET BA LLB merit list was released on December 30, 2022. Candidates included in the first provisional BA LLB admission list had to confirm their admission by submitting the admission confirmation fee by January 04, 2023. The university has also released the first LLM admission list on January 06, 2023.
Earlier the university declared the AILET result 2023 and released the final answer key on its official examination portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. It conducted the AILET 2023 exam on December 11, 2022, from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm in offline mode. The law entrance exam for admission to BA LLB, LLM and PhD programmes was held in 22 cities across the country.

What is AILET Exam?
All India Law Entrance Test, popularly known as AILET is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by NLU, Delhi. AILET exam is conducted for admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB, LLM and PhD programmes. Candidates may note here that NLU Delhi is the only national law university that will not accept the CLAT 2023 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. AILET 2023 Exam Details
The university has recently changed the test pattern and syllabus for AILET UG and AILET PG. As per the new test pattern, AILET BA LLB 2023 now has three sections - English, current affairs and general knowledge, and logical reasoning. AILET LLM has only two sections - English and Legal reasoning. Candidates can check the overview of the syllabus below.

The university offers a total of 120 seats in BA LLB programme. Out of this, 110 seats will be filled through AILET 2023. Similarly, at the postgraduate level, the university offers 80 seats in one year LLM programme, out of which 70 seats will be offered through the AILET exam. How was AILET previous year?
As per students and experts, the AILET exam 2022 held on June 26, 2022, was easy to moderate. The question paper was a bit longer still many students found the paper easy. As per the new exam pattern, the maths section was not included in the question paper of AILET exam. And, legal aptitude was included in the logical reasoning section.

Candidates willing to appear in AILET 2023 should meet the prescribed elibility criteria prescribed by NLU, Delhi. AILET is conducted for UG, PG and Ph.d programmes. The AILET 2023 application form has been closed on November 20, 2022. The application form opened on September 07, 2022, in online mode. Eligible candidates who wish to appear in AILET 2023 could register online and fill the application form by visiting the official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
Candidates to complete the application process of AILET 2023 were required to pay the registration fee of Rs. 3050 for the general category and Rs. 1050 for SC/ST candidates. The BPL candidates belonging to SC and ST categories are exempted from the application fees for AILET 2023.
How to fill AILET 2023 application form?
Candidates to fill the application form for AILET 2023 should follow the steps given below:
Step 1: Online registration - Candidates need to visit the official website of NLU Delhi - nludelhi.ac.in. Then, click on 'Register to Apply Now' where they need to create a signup or login account by providing details such as name, email id, create password, date of birth, mobile number and contact address.
Step 2: Select the law course - As the AILET 2023 exam is conducted for undergraduate as well as postgraduate courses in law, candidates should first select the course in the application form - BA LLB, LLM or PhD After the selection of the course candidates should click on 'Apply Now" to move in the next step.
Step 3: Fill out the application form - Candidates after successfully creating the AILET 2023 login account should fill the particulars given below:

Around 14,000 candidates will contest for admission to BA LLB programme of NLU Delhi which offers only 110 seats in the course. therefore, to secure a seat in the university, candidates will have to prepare for the examination in a very holistic manner.

NLU, Delhi has released the AILET final answer key on December 19, 2022 at nationallawuniversitydelhi.ac.in. Earlier, the AILET 2023 provisional answer key was declared on December 12, 2022. As per the experts and students, unlike other years AILET question paper was very lengthy, similar to CLAT question paper. AILET counselling 2023 - Steps
Step 1: Check AILET invite list 2023 - The university will release the list of shortlisted candidates for AILET 2023 counselling after the declaration of results. Candidates three times more than the available seats will be invited for AILET counselling 2023. Only those candidates who will receive the invitation will be eligible to appear in the counselling.
Step 2: AILET 2023 counselling registration - Invited candidates will have to login to the admission portal using their registration number or application number as well as date of birth. They will also have to pay the counselling fee and upload the necessary documents and print the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
Step 3: Provisional admission list for AILET 2023 - The university will release the course-wise first provisional admission list after the verification of the documents submitted by the eligible candidates along with the waiting list.
