About CLAT PG 2023
The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the second merit list of CLAT LLM 2023 on January 27, 2023, on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Candidates included in the merit list of CLAT 2023 LLM programme will be eligible for admission to the allotted National Law Universities. Earlier, the consortium released the CLAT LLM 2023 first merit list on January 18, 2023. The consortium had started the counselling process on December 28, 2022, and the last date of registration for CLAT counselling was January 12, 2023, 6 pm. The consortium declared the CLAT 2023 result on December 23, 2022 on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium also released the CLAT 2023 final answer key on December 22, 2022. Earlier, the provisional answer key of CLAT 2023 was released and the CLAT 2023 exam was on December 18, 2022 from 02 pm to 04 pm. The consortium issued the CLAT LLM 2023 admit card to registered candidates on December 06, 2022, 6 pm. Candidates were required to fill their admission preferences to NLUs before downloading their Admit Card of CLAT 2023. The scores of CLAT PG 2023 will be accepted by 19 national law universities for admission to one-year LLM programmes.

The Consortium closed the CLAT 2023 LLM application form on November 18. CLAT LLM exam 2023 will be conducted on December 18, 2022, in offline mode. Recently, the exam authorities have also added one more campus of Gujarat National Law University, Silvassa to the list of CLAT participating institutes.
CLAT LLM 2023 - Test details
The national-level law entrance exam, CLAT LLM is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) in offline (pen and paper) mode. It is a common entrance test for admission to 19 national law universities.
As per the exam pattern of CLAT PG 2023, the test included comprehension-based questions from various legal subjects of graduation level. Each question will carry one mark and each incorrect answer will invite a penalty of -0.25 marks. Candidates should check the CLAT 2023 syllabus for PG before starting the exam preparation. The NLU consortium provides official CLAT PG 2023 eligibility criteria on its official website. The eligibility criteria of CLAT PG 2023 provides information such as qualifying exam passed, marks obtained in the qualifying exam, and age limit of candidates required before filling the CLAT 2023 application form. - Educational Qualification - Candidates should have completed LLB graduation (3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB) from any recognized institute by the Bar Council of India.

How to fill CLAT PG application form 2023:
- Online Registration - To register online, the candidate has to create an applicant account by entering details like name, phone number, and email id. On successful registration, a password will be generated for the new account.
- Filling of application form - Next fill in various sections like personal details, correspondence, and address details. Also, select the course of study.
- Uploading of documents - In this step, candidates have to upload scanned photographs, signatures, and domicile certificates as per the format specified in the table below:

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) has released the CLAT 2023 final answer key on December 22, 2022 on its official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Earlier, the provisional answer key of CLAT 2023 was released and the CLAT 2023 exam was conducted on December 18, 2022, in offline mode. The CLAT answer key includes all the questions asked in the CLAT PG exam. The candidates can refer to the answers given in the CLAT PG answer key 2023; and thus calculate their expected scores.
For calculating marks, refer to the official marking scheme. In case the candidate feels like there is any discrepancy in any of the keys, they may challenge the provisional key(s) within a given time frame on payment of a fee. Exam officials will notify a window during which challenges can be filed.
All objections are considered by the consortium before officials release the final answer key of CLAT PG 2023. An important distinction between the final and provisional keys is the keys mentioned in the provisional key can be challenged, but no challenges to the final keys are entertained.

Preparation of CLAT PG merit list
The marks obtained by candidates in the CLAT PG exam will later be used to prepare the CLAT PG merit list. This merit list will be further used for counselling and seat allotment process.
In cases where two or more candidates will score the same marks in CLAT PG 2023 exam, the consortium of NLUs will use a tie-breaking procedure to decide the merit rank.
The CLAT PG 2023 cutoff is the minimum rank or score that a candidate will have to secure in order to get admission to the LLM course at any of the participating NLUs. The CLAT PG cutoff 2023 will be category-specific and released separately for the NLUs. Candidates will be required to meet the cutoff criteria (on the basis of their categories) for the applied institute to be considered for admission. Candidates failing to meet the cutoff will not be considered qualified for further admission process.

- Candidates who fall under the General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories must have earned a minimum of 45% overall in their qualifying examination (10+2 or a comparable test), or its equivalent.
- Candidates from SC/ST categories must have received an overall score of 40% or its equivalent.
CLAT Eligibilty criteria for Final Year Candidate
- Candidates for the final year, however, must provide evidence that they passed the qualifying test at the time of admission; otherwise, they will not be eligible to be considered for admission.
- Candidates will not be considered for admission if they do not provide their marksheets or certificates of graduation with the requisite marks.
