About MHCET Law 2024
MH CET Law 2024 - State CET Cell Maharashtra has announced the tentative schedule of MHCET Law 2024 on its official website. MH CET 3-year LLB will be conducted from March 11-13, 2024 while the MH CET 5-year LLB will be conducted from May 7-8, 2024. The CET Cell will conduct MH CET Law 2024 in online mode to admit candidates into five year integrated law and three year LLB programmes offered by law colleges in Maharashtra. Candidates will be required to perform MH CET Law registration by visiting the official website. The seat allotment will done on the basis of MH CET Law counselling 2024. Only those candidates who obtain a non-zero score will be called for the counseling process. The CET scores are accepted by around 140 law colleges in the state.
What is MH CET Law Exam?
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test - Law or MH CET Law is a state-level law entrance exam conducted by State CET Cell, Maharashtra. Through this law entrance exam candidates are admitted into 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes offered by the participating law colleges in the state of Maharashtra. A total of 147 law colleges accept MH CET law scores. These colleges offer around 10,860 seats in 5-year LLB programmes and 16,240 seats in 3-year LLB.

MH CET Law Exam Analysis 2024
The State CET Cell does not release answer keys of MH CET Law. However, candidates will be able to obtain exam analysis and unofficial answer keys immediately after the exam. The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra prescribes the MHCET law eligibility criteria 2024 for 5-year LLB programmes offered by various law colleges. The MHCET law 2024 eligibility criteria covers the minimum requirements that one needs to fulfill before filling out the application form.
MH CET law eligibility criteria 2024 - 5-year integrated law :
- Qualifying exam : The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam (including 3-year diploma in engineering)
- Minimum marks : Maharashtra state candidates needs to secure a minimum aggregate of: 45% - General category, 40% - SC/ST, 42% - VJ / DT / NT(A) / NT / O.B.C./ S.B.C. category.
- Others : Candidates who have passed senior secondary or obtained a first-degree certificates through distance education or correspondence method are also eligible for admission.

Before filling up the MH CET law application form for 3-year LLB, candidates must make sure they fulfil the eligibility requirement. State CET Cell, Maharashtra has prescribed the following conditions as part of MHCET law eligibility criteria 2024 for 3-year LLB:
- The candidates must possess a graduate degree in any discipline.

State CET Cell Maharashtra will release the MH CET law 2024 application form in online mode. The application forms for 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB are released on the official website - cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates who meet the MH CET law eligibility criteria 2024 may fill out the application form before the application deadline. The registration process for the exam will be in online mode.
How to fill MH CET law 2024 application form?
- Registration - The first step in the MHCET law 2024 application process is registration, wherein the candidate will have to create an applicant account. In the MHCET law registration form, enter your name, father's name, mother's name, contact details and other personal details. On successfully entering the information, a new account will be created with a unique login id.
- Uploading the documents - The candidate will have to next upload a photo and signature as per the specification outlined in the table below.

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the MH CET Law 2024 counselling in online mode. All candidates who have a non-zero CET score in MH CET Law exam can register for counselling and seat allotment. Candidates will be allotted seats in law colleges on the basis of merit cum preference. Candidates must make sure to clear the MH CET Law cut off to be eligible for seat allotment. Here are the simple steps for MH CET Law counselling.
- CAP Registration: MH CET law CAP registration is mandatory for appearing in the counselling process. Only such candidates who register for the counselling will be included in the merit list and considered for seat allotment.
- Issue of merit numbers: Candidates who are shortlisted for counselling will be issued merit numbers.
- Choice filling: Candidates who have been issued merit numbers will be invited for choice filling and locking. As part of the choice-filling process, candidates will need to pick their choice of institutions before the start of CAP Round-I and CAP Round II. All entries should be in the order of priority.
- Seat allotment: The allotment of seats will be made after each CAP Round taking into account the merit rank and choices entered by the candidate.
- Document verification: Upon allotment of seats, the candidate has to accept the seat, pay the acceptance fee through candidate log-in.
- Report at allotted college: Finally, the candidate has to report at the institute allotted to them on the designated day to complete the remaining admission formalities.
Note that options entered before CAP Round I will be the basis for seat allotment in CAP Round-I and II. Also, the choice-filling option will be activated again before CAP Round III, which will be the basis for seat allotment in the round.

As per the mhcet pattern mathematics physics and chemistry is absolutely very important. There are two section in mhcet paper one is of physics and chemistry and the other is mathematics. Both section contains 100 marks each. It is a computer based examination and will be used for the admission to b.tech programmes.

So, you will need 1,2,3 year semester Marksheet if you do not have that you can contact your college for it. Yes you are eligible for giving your entrance exam.
