About MHCET Law 2024
The State CET Cell, Maharashtra has once again revised the LLB CET 2024 exam date for 5-year LLB. The MH CET 5-year LLB 2024 will now be conducted on May 18, 2024. It had also extended the MH CET Law 2024 application form for 5-year LLB till March 30, 2024. Eligible candidates can fill out the MH CET 5-year LLB application form online from the official website, cetcell.mahacet.org.
The CET Cell had conducted the MH CET 3-year LLB 2024 exam on March 12 and March 13, in a computer-based test. MH CET 3-year LLB 2024 exam was easy to moderate according to the students who appeared in the examination. Careers360 has released the MH CET 3-year LLB answer key 2024 built on memory-based questions from the exam. Students can use this answer key to calculate their probable scores and see the correct responses for the questions asked in the exam. The MH CET 3-year LLB results 2024 will be announced tentatively in the last week of March 2024.

What is MH CET Law Exam?
Maharashtra Common Entrance Test - Law or MH CET Law is a state-level law entrance exam conducted by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra. Through this law entrance exam candidates are admitted into 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes offered by the participating law colleges in the state of Maharashtra. A total of 147 law colleges accept MH CET law scores. These colleges offer around 10,860 seats in 5-year LLB programmes and 16,240 seats in 3-year LLB.

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra prescribes the MHCET law eligibility criteria 2024 for 5-year LLB programmes offered by various law colleges. The MHCET law 2024 eligibility criteria covers the minimum requirements that one needs to fulfill before filling out the application form.
MH CET law eligibility criteria 2024 - 5-year integrated law :
- Qualifying exam : The candidate needs to have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam (including 3-year diploma in engineering)
- Minimum marks : Maharashtra state candidates needs to secure a minimum aggregate of: 45% - General category, 40% - SC/ST, 42% - VJ / DT / NT(A) / NT / O.B.C./ S.B.C. category.
- Others : Candidates who have passed senior secondary or obtained a first-degree certificates through distance education or correspondence method are also eligible for admission.

The State CET Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the MH CET Law 2024 counselling in online mode. All candidates who have a non-zero CET score in MH CET Law exam can register for counselling and seat allotment. Candidates will be allotted seats in law colleges on the basis of merit cum preference. Candidates must make sure to clear the MH CET Law cut off to be eligible for seat allotment. Here are the simple steps for MH CET Law counselling.
- CAP Registration: MH CET law CAP registration is mandatory for appearing in the counselling process. Only such candidates who register for the counselling will be included in the merit list and considered for seat allotment.
- Issue of merit numbers: Candidates who are shortlisted for counselling will be issued merit numbers.
- Choice filling: Candidates who have been issued merit numbers will be invited for choice filling and locking. As part of the choice-filling process, candidates will need to pick their choice of institutions before the start of CAP Round-I and CAP Round II. All entries should be in the order of priority.

Note that options entered before CAP Round I will be the basis for seat allotment in CAP Round-I and II. Also, the choice-filling option will be activated again before CAP Round III, which will be the basis for seat allotment in the round.

Those who wish to pursue careers in law should apply to Indian LLB 2024 programmes. There are primarily two LLB programmes: the three-year and the five-year degrees. Since CLAT and AILET are now in the midst of their counselling processes, LLB admission for 2024 is currently open. The LLB application forms will be made available by prestigious colleges in India, and students will be shortlisted based on their performance in university or national admission exams.
And the CLAT exam for 2024 is completed. Even if you have other private top institutions to enter into by clearing their own entrance exams.

The last date for the 5-year course is February 18, 2024, while for the 3-year course, it is january 31, 2024. The admit cards will be released around one week before the exam for both courses. And mark your calendar, the MH CET Law 2024 exam is scheduled for May 3, 2024.
