About NLSAT 2023
NLSAT 2023 - The National Law School of India University, Bangalore released the NLSAT 2023 result in online mode. The registration for NLSIU 3-year LLB opened on January 16, 2023, in online mode. Eligible candidates could fill and submit the NLSAT 2023 application form online from the examination portal - admissions.nls.ac.in/llb. NLSIU Bangalore conducted NLSAT 2023 for admission to the 3-year LLB programme on April 30, 2023, in online mode. NLSAT 2023 exam had both objective and descriptive-type questions. Only those candidates who clear the objective section of the test paper will have their descriptive part evaluated.

National Law School Admissions Test (NLSAT) 2023 - Test Details
NLSAT 2023 for 3-year LLB is a single test paper divided into two parts - Part A and Part B. The Part A of NLSAT had 75 objective-type questions on subjects such as English, correct affairs, and legal and logical aptitude. Part B consisted of subjective type questions which will be asked from legal aptitude and correct affairs. The objective type paper is a qualifying exam, while the subjective question paper will be considered for preparing the final merit list.
NLSIU Bangalore also offers BA LLB and LLM programmes. Admissions to BA LLB will be offered through UG- Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) while the LLM admissions will be through CLAT LLM. Both exams have been conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities on December 18, 2022.

NLSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who wish to apply for NLSAT 2023 must meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university for admission to 3-year LLB course. Covering the minimum educational qualification, and minimum qualifying marks, the NLSAT eligibility criteria are as follows;
Educational Qualification - The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Minimum qualifying marks - The candidate must have passed graduation with at least 45% aggregate marks. SC and ST category candidates must have passed the graduation with an aggregate of not less than 40% of total marks.
Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination are also to apply for NLSAT 2023. However, admission to such candidates will be offered upon successful completion of their bachelor’s degree with the minimum aggregate marks as mentioned above.

The application process of NLSAT 2023 has been closed. Candidates could fill the application form for NLSAT 2023 in online mode. The last date for NLSAT application form submission was extended till April 10. It was earlier released on January 16, 2023. The NLSAT 2023 application process includes steps such as online registration, filling the application form, uploading documents and fee payment.
NLSAT 2023 application fees
Candidates have to pay Rs 2,000 as the application fee for NLSAT 2023. However, the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Economically Weaker Sections, and Persons with Disabilities are required to pay Rs. 1500, in online mode.

NLSAT 2023 Result
NLSAT 2023 result has been declared in online mode. Candidates can download the NLSAT 2023 result by logging into the admission portal. Only candidates who have cleared Part A of the NLSAT have their Part B evaluated. A total of 300 candidates (in a ratio of 1:5 of available seats) have been shortlisted from Part A.
From Part B, 150 candidates (in a ratio of 1:2.5 of available seats) are shortlisted for interview. The final selection list will be prepared based on the consolidated marks secured by the candidates in Part B. Such candidates will be offered an admission letter and the classes will commence on July 1, 2023.
NLSAT 2023 Selection Process
NLSAT is a three-stage national-level examination process. The first two stages will be of written examination. The final stage will be an interview round.
The first and second stages (Part A and Part B) will be held in test centres across the country.
The university will prepare a merit list based on Part A of NLSAT 2023.
Only those candidates who clear Part A will have their Part B evaluated. Shortlisting for evaluation of Part B will be conducted in a ratio of 1:5 of the 60 seats offered by the university, which means, 300 candidates will be shortlisted from Part A and their answer sheets for Part B will be evaluated.
Part A is only of a qualifying nature. The marks attained by candidates in Part A will not be carried over to the remaining admission process.
On the basis of Part B, a fresh merit list will be prepared. Candidates will be selected in a ratio of 1:5 per seat.
