NMIMS LAT 2022 Exam: Dates, Eligibility, Registration, Syllabus & Pattern, Preparation Tips

SVKM’s NMIMS is conducting NMIMS-Law Aptitude Test (LAT) 2022 from April 1 to June 26, 2022. The exam is being conducted online, in computer-based mode. NMIMS-LAT 2022 application form has been released on December 23, 2021. Eligible candidates can register and submit their application form by June 20, 2022. Post application submission, candidates need to book their slots for appearing in the examination. 

What is NMIMS LAT exam?

The NMIMS LAT is a university-level common law entrance exam for admission to BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.) programmes offered by 6 law campuses of SVKM's NMIMS.  The question paper of NMIMS LAT 2022 will have 150 objective type questions, to be asked from topics such as English language, current affairs, general knowledge, maths, legal and logical reasoning. candidates will be given two hours to attempt the NMIMS LAT 2022 question paper.

NMIMS Admission through CLAT and LSAT India 2022

Other than NMIMS LAT 2022, candidates can also appear in Common Law Admission Test or LSAT India examinations for admission to the law programmes offered by the institute. CLAT 2022 will be held on June 19, 2022, in offline mode, the registrations for CLAT are open till May 09, 2022. Meanwhile, LSAT India 2022 is being conducted in two phases. The first phase exams were held on January 15, while the second phase of LSAT India 2022, will be held from June 22, in remote proctored mode.

SVKM’s NMIMS has prescribed the following eligibility criteria for NMIMS LAT 2022.

Educational Qualification

1. Candidates should have passed Class 12 from a recognized board or institute.
2. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear in NMIMS LAT 2022. Such candidates will be required to submit the documents and mark sheet of qualifying examination at the time of admission.

NMIMS LAT 2022 application form is currently open. The last date to complete the NMIMS LAT application process is June 20, 2022. Candidates can fill out and submit the application form in online mode, by registering at the admission portal of the institute.

Steps to fill NMIMS LAT application form 2022 

1. Visit the official website of NMIMS LAT 2022
2. Click on the register link and complete the registration process
3. Login using registration ID and password
4. Select test category, school, program name and campus preferences
5.  Submit the application fee and complete the NMIMS LAT 2022 application process.

After submitting the application form, candidates should download a copy of the filled-in NMIMS LAT application form for future reference. 

Application Fees

The NMIMS LAT 2022 admit card will be generated only after test scheduling. It is a mandatory document for appearing in the NMIMS LAT 2022 exam. The admit card informs about the chosen date of examination, city and test centre name and address.

How to download NMIMS LAT admit card 2022?

• Visit the dashboard of NMIMS LAT 2022
• Log in using registration ID and password
• Click on admit card link
• The admit card of NMIMS LAT 2022 will be displayed on the screen
• Download and take a printout of it for future reference.

Along with the admit card, candidates also have to carry one original ID proof along with its photocopy to the examination centre.

Successfully registered candidates will be able to book the test slot for NMIMS LAT 2022, online from the registration portal.

While booking the test slot, candidates will have to choose NMIMS LAT 2022 exam date(s) and preferred test centre. The allotment of NMIMS LAT test centre 2022 will be subject to the test centre capacity.  

The institute will declare the NMIMS LAT 2022 result soon after the examination. The date and time for the result declaration will be announced separately on the admission portal. NMIMS LAT 2022 result will be released in the form of a merit list. Individual scorecards may also be provided to the candidates.

How to check NMIMS LAT 2022 result?

2. Click on LAT 2022 result link
3. Login using ID and password
4. The result of NMIMS LAT 2022 will be displayed on the screen
5. Download and save the result for admission purposes.

Candidates can appear in NMIMS LAT 2022 at least 3 times. Therefore, they will be able to report the best score at the time of admission.
