RULET 2022 Exam - First Cut Off (Out), Result, GD & PI Process, Counselling Process

Rajasthan University has announced the result of RULET 2022 on its official website. Candidates can check their scores and the final answer key of RULET 2022 by logging in to the official website - univraj.org. The university had commenced Group discussion and Personal Interview from July 29, 2022 at University 5-year law college campus. The provisional answer key of RULET 2022 was released on July 28, 2022. Candidates having objections against the answer key of RULET 2022 could file objections between July 29 to July 30, 2022. The RULET 2022 exam was conducted on July 27, 2022. The university had released the RULET 2022 admit card on July 25, 2022. The university had released the RULET 2022 application form on June 28, 2022. The RULET exam will be a two-hour long test. The test paper consists of 150 objective-type questions, each carrying two marks.

There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer. The questions will be asked from the following subjects;

• English (Language ability)
• General knowledge
• Current affairs
• Legal aptitude
• General science
• Social science

The university gives admission based on merit cum preference criteria. The merit list is prepared based on the marks obtained by the candidates in RULET 2022 and personal interviews. Rajasthan University offers a total of 120 seats in the BA LLB programme.

Rajasthan University has prescribed the following eligibility criteria for RULET entrance exam 2022.

For Candidates domiciled in Rajasthan

The candidates must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% in the case of SC and ST category candidates).

For candidates coming from other states

The candidates must have passed Class 12th or an equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks or above, from a board recognised by Rajasthan University.

Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in the current year may also apply.

Age limit

There is no age limit for appearing in the exam.

Rajasthan University has released the RULET 2022 application form in online mode, on June 28, 2022. Eligible candidates need to duly fill and submit the application form before the registration closing date. Candidates will be able to fill the application form of RULET by registering at the admission portal of the university. While filling the application, candidates should provide genuine and verifiable information; any candidate found falsifying information may be subject to disqualification.

The RULET 2022 application form filling process involves the following steps:

• Online registration - Candidates may register by using the email id, contact information and other details such as educational qualification, communication details etc. 
• Uploading of documents
• Payment of application fee - The application fee is Rs. 2000, which is the same for all applicants. candidates may submit the application using a credit card, debit card, or net banking facilities.
• Taking printout of completed application

The following scanned documents have to be uploaded:

• Left-hand thumb impression

Improve reading skills - Candidates should focus on improving  their reading speeds and for this, they should read newspapers, books, as well as blogs. 

Read best books - There are plenty of books by recommended authors that will help you learn important tips and tricks to score well in the exam as well as understand difficult concepts from the syllabus.

Practice mock tests - It is advised that to prepare and get an idea of the real-time exam, you should refer to the previous years' papers for RULET 2022 as well as there are plenty of mock tests available online that are similar to the law entrance exam. Practice the papers as much as possible to score well.

Revision notes - During the exam preparation it will not be possible for candidates to study all sections and therefore, it would be better if you making notes. It will be helpful for the GK section as well as the legal reasoning section.

The university conducts RULET 2022 in offline mode. It has prescribed the test pattern of RULET 2022 which gives an insight into the test structure as well as other rules and modalities of it. The important features of RULET 2022 exam pattern are given.

RULET 2022 exam syllabus will be divided across five sections as mentioned below.

• English Language
• Legal Reasoning
• Current Affairs and General Knowledge
• Quantitative Aptitude and Logical Reasoning

RULET 2022 will be conducted for a duration of two hours. There will be 150 objective type questions. Each correct question will carry two marks. And, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers.

Apart from the admission test, a separate GD-PI will be conducted for 100 marks.

The Rajasthan University has released the admit card of RULET 2022 on July 25, 2022. Candidates will be able to download the admit card of RULET 2022 by logging into the admission portal of the university. The RULET 2022 admit card will carry the details such as name, roll number, application number of the candidate, exam centre name, address, reporting time and exam day guidelines.

Rajasthan University has released the RULET 2022  final answer key on August 2, 2022. Along with the question paper and answer key objection format will be also put up on the website. Candidates can use the answer key of RULET 2022 to cross check their answers in the exam and get an idea of their scores. Candidates should follow the steps given below to download the RULET answer key:

1. Visit the official website of Rajasthan University, the link of exam will appear at the bottom of page for RULET 2022.

2. Candidates will then get the link of answer key for RULET 2022.

3. The answer key with correct options for all the question paper sets will open up, and candidates can download the file to cross-check their responses.

4. After cross-checking the answer key, candidates can report their objections (if any) to the university.

How to challenge RULET answer key 2022?

If a candidate finds any discrepancy in the question paper or answer key of RULET 2022, he/she can use the objection format given in the website to file objections.

Objecting the question paper: Candidates who raise the objection in Question Booklet must submit the format in hard copy with valid proof at the office of the Convener, RULET-2022.

Objecting the answer key: Submission of objections regarding answer key to the Convener, RULET – 2022, in the University Five Year Law College, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur as per the deadline.

Exam day Instructions

Here are some important points that candidates should take care of on the test day: 

• Reach the exam centre at least an hour before the exam timings

• Carry the admit card for RULET 2022 along with one valid photo ID proof

• Avoid taking study material, mobile phones, calculator, watch or any technical device inside the examination hall

• Follow the instructions of the exam invigilators during the test 

• In case, candidates face any difficulty regarding the exam facilities, reach out to your instructor, however, asking answers from the question paper is not allowed.

RULET 2022 result has been declared on the official website of the university. The result of RULET 2022 is declared in online mode, at the official website of the university. Candidates can check their scorecards by logging into the admission portal. 

The result includes details such as the section-wise and overall marks secured by the candidate. Such candidates who qualify for the screening process will be featured in the final merit list. The admissions will be on the basis of the final merit list only.

Factors that affect RULET 2022 Cutoff

The cutoff of Rajasthan university varies every year due to the below-mentioned factors. It is important for the candidates to know about it to have a target score in their mind.

• Total number of seats offered by the university for undergraduate programmes

• Number of applicants in the law entrance examination

• Performance of the candidates

• The difficulty level of the entrance test

• Category-wise seat availability

Mode of Counselling: Offline

Candidates who qualify for the screening process were invited for counselling and seat allotment process. The RULET counselling 2022 will be held in offline mode. The venue and dates of counselling will be notified soon after the result declaration. 

RULET 2022 counselling process includes steps such as online registration, document submission, verification of documents and candidate details and seat allotment. 

The RULET 2022 counselling will be held in multiple rounds. After each round, an admission list will be declared. Shortlisted candidates have to complete the admission process by submitting the course fee. 

Rajasthan Univeristy will start GD and PI process from July 29, 2022. Candidates who qualify for the entrance test are called for a personal interview. The RULET 2022 personal interview is conducted in multiple rounds for which the university released a roll number wise list of candidates. 

The RULET personal interview carries 25 marks. It is an assessment of the candidates' personality. Following the conduct of a personal interview, a final result is declared.
