CLAT is the common law admission test conducted by the 14 National Law Universities in rotation.  CLAT 2014 is being conducted by Gujarat National Law University. The coveted law entrance exam is scheduled for May 11, 2014 across the various test centres in India.

Not only this, the petitioners have also written to the Court for directing National Law University, Delhi to join the CLAT Committee. The law aspirants argued that taking so many exams is an unreasonable burden rather than an opportunity for law aspirants.

A Division Bench of Justices Dinesh Maheshwari and B L Sharma issued noticed in the matter (Law Prep Tutorial Pvt. Ltd & Ors v. Union of India & Ors- D.B. Civil Writ Petition No. 754/2014), giving the respondents two weeks time to file their replies.

sir if i got bck in last semester in llb then i am eligible for clat exam or not

Shudhanshu Gupta Student Expert 22nd Feb, 2020
Hello.
It is not mentioned anywhere that you can be eligible for CLAT exam with having backlog in LLB if you are asking for CLAT PG for 1 year LLM course, then as it is mentioned that to be eligible you need to have minimum 50% in graduation but this percent should be without backlog in any subject you will have to clear that backlog and then you can fill the application form of CLAT.
Best of luck.
