CLAT 2015 Committee has announced a revised result for UG entrance exam on the basis of an expert committee report which identified two more errors in the question paper. The newly reported errors are in addition to another erroneous question which CLAT Committee has already admitted before announcing the results earlier, CLAT 2015 Convener, Dr. J.D. Gangwar confirmed to Careers360.

The revised result has, in fact, significantly impacted the All India Ranking (AIR) with the new merit list showing many candidates sliding down or moving up by over 200 ranks.

Now, the 1st round of seat allotment will be announced on the basis of revised marking scheme on Monday, June 8.  After the announcement of revised evaluation scheme, the CLAT officials said that “The revised rank lists of CLAT-15 have accordingly been uploaded on the website and Seat allotment in accordance with these rank lists is likely to take place by Monday (i.e. 08.06.2015).”

In a press statement, the CLAT authorities said that the revised scheme is based on an expert committee finding which indicated to a few additional errors in the question paper.

The CLAT result re-evaluation is based on the following finding:

Question Paper (UG Programme):

1. Question No: 186 (question ID: 1907), one mark has been given to all those candidates who have marked either option 'C' or 'D' as correct answer as both the options in this questions were identically same.

2. Question No: 35 (Question ID: 1744), due to typographical error in this question, question has been withdrawn and one mark has been given to all the candidates appeared in the examination.

In addition to UG evaluation scheme, answer keys to as many as 6 Questions have also been changed for PG entrance exam.

Further, the CLAT committee also announced release of individual question paper to candidate log in ID. “Considering a substantial number of RTI applications for providing individual question paper and response sheets, it has been decided to provide individual question paper along with the response sheets to all candidates who have appeared in CLAT-2015,” CLAT 2015 convenor said, adding, “Now any candidate can view/download his/her individual question paper by logging in to his/her personal login account.”

CLAT conducting NLU–Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU) on June 2, had released CLAT 2015 Official Answer Key and Question Paper after a spate of allegations on exam and evaluation process of the national level law entrance exam and had admitted that after uploading the questions papers and answer keys on official website, they have received representations from several candidates who doubted the CLAT 2015 Answer Key accuracy. Subsequent to this, an expert committee was formed to look into this matter.

CLAT Result was declared on May 20 for over 39772 candidates who had appeared for the national level law entrance exam conducted by Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU). CLAT 2015 is the basis for admission to 2164 seats of BA LLB across 16 NLUs in India.

hrithik jain 25th Feb, 2020

Hello,

I can suggest you some tips which will help you in preparing better for the same:

1. Check out the last year questions papers: it will help you to analyze a pattern and types of questions they ask in the Paper.

2. Take all the monthly magazine for the whole year: this will help you to read the news faster.

3. Check out the current affairs website/e-paper to get bulletins or short summary of the affairs.

4. Write down notes (but it might take longer time so do it as per the time limit)

5. Make sure that you complete a good amount of reading in a day. Do not go on for reading and remembering the whole news. Look out for a pattern of reading the current affairs which will help you in the exam as you have less time and a lot of syllabus to cover.

how I can manage my school and clat preparation by myself Right now I m in class 11 and the time when I will give my clat I have to prepare for my boreds also??

Srishti jha 24th Feb, 2020

Hello aspirant, I hope you are doing good.

It's good to know you are interested in CLAT . But yes, clearing boards with marks is more important , but now take just 1 hours extra to prepare for CLAT. But after giving 12th exam, make to get into a crash course of CLAT . This will really help you a lot.

I hope this helps.
