MH CET Law 2016 has been announced by Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell, on behalf of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra for admissions to undergraduate law programmes including three-year as well as five-year integrated LLB in various colleges of the state. In an official notification released by the CET Cell on April 13, 2016, it has been announced that MH CET Law 2016 will now be conducted on June 18 and 19, 2016 and not on May 22, 2016 as earlier announced.LATEST - DTE, Maharashtra has announced Result of MH CET Law 2016 on June 29 in online mode.
The application for MH CET Law 2016 begins from May 10. Maharashtra State CET Cell officials said that from 2016 onwards, the state shall hold a Common Entrance Test for admissions to the undergraduate LLB programmes in each law institution of the state.
In an earlier notification, Asim Gupta, Commissioner and Competent Authority of State CET Cell, Maharashtra had said, “Admissions to law programmes in the State Government law colleges will be offered on the basis of marks secured in the Common Entrance Test. The CET for LLB programmes is scheduled to be held on May 22, 2016.”
Earlier on December 4, 2015, the DTE has announced an official notification of conducting a Common Entrance Test for the law programmes and directed all law institutions of the state to offer admissions in 3-year and 5-year integrated LLB programmes through CET scores.
