Yes, there is some subjective question asked in the exam. There are 150 question in total of 150 maximum marks. Exam pattern for LLM program encompass topics from Constitutional law, Jurisprudence, contract, Trots, criminal law, IPR, etc.

Candidates appearing in CLAT PG 2019 need to be well versed with the exam pattern of CLAT PG 2019 for the postgraduate law programmes as it will not just give them a fair idea as to what should be expected out of them but would also help them to devise a strategic plan. As per the CLAT PG Exam Pattern , candidates will be given 2 hours time to attempt the offline paper. The paper will consist of 150 questions of 150 marks where questions from the Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law and International Law topics will be asked. Candidates will be given multiple choices where they need to mark any one of the four choices given. The candidate will be awarded 1 mark each for correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response. Non-attempted questions will be awarded zero marks . There is no mention of any descriptive type paper in the official notification of CLAT PG 2019 exam pattern, so I am sure there would be only objective type questions. According to the eligibility criterias for clat, any student applying for postgraduate law programme or for LLM, must have a bachelor's degree in law.
Students must secure a minimum of 55% in his/her qualifying degree. While for the students belonging to the reserved category should obtain a minimum of 50% only.

One-year LLM programme was introduced in India by UGC in January 2013 which recommended to set up a Centre for Post Graduate Legal Studies (CPGLS) in the prescribed manner to offer the 1-year LLM programme.
It started at select law schools in 2013–14. In the last 3 years, many law schools, mostly National Law Universities, leading private law schools/universities and some of the central/state universities have introduced one-year LLM programmes in India.
The one year LL.M. programme shall have 24 credits with three mandatory courses of 3 credits each (making a total of nine credits), six optional courses of 2 credits each (making a total of 12 credits) and a dissertation of 3 credits. University may increase credit for dissertation up to 5 credits and decide how teaching and examinations have to be organized, grades determined and what specializations to be offered.
