AP LAWCET Application Details

  1. Click on the official link of AP LAWCET application form
  2. Candidates first need to remit the application fee before filling in the application form of AP LAWCET
  3. Candidates can remit the application fee through AP Online centres or Net Banking/ Debit Card/ Credit Card
  4. Once candidates have remitted the application fee they can proceed to fill the AP LAWCET application form
  5. Candidates need to enter  details like Name, Parents’ Name, Date of Birth and Gender
  6. The next step is filling up the qualifying exam/academic details as per the SSC or Graduation level
  7. The next part is entrance exam details, for the entrance exam which candidates want to appear
  8. After that candidates need to upload scanned copy of recent passport size colored photograph and signature
  9. Candidates also need to mark the test centre/ exam centre from the exam centres list where they want to appear for the exam
  10. The next step is filling up category and other details including special category status, local area status, minority category status
  11. In case candidates does come under Physically Disable Category as mentioned then they can leave the above mentioned fields
  12. Candidates also need to mention their family income status in the last field of the application form as it is mandatory
  13. Candidates can cross-check the filled in application form of AP LAWCET and click on ’submit’ button 


AP LAWCET Eligibility Criteria

For 3-year LL.B programme –

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor Degree in any discipline from any recognized University or must have qualified any other equivalent examination as recognized by the concerned Universities
  • General Category candidates need to have scored atleast 45% in aggregate of all subjects
  • Candidates belonging to reserved category need to have 40% marks in aggregate
  • As per the regulations of Bar Council of India (BCI), there is no upper age limit for admissions to law programmes
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also considered eligible, provided they fulfill requirement of minimum marks for the qualifying exam
  • For candidates who have less than 45% of qualifying marks in the Graduate degree examination but hold any additional Graduation or Post Graduation degree with 45% minimum qualifying marks then it can be taken into consideration

For 5-year–integrated LLB programme –

  • Candidates must have passed Intermediate Examination of Andhra Pradesh State Boards or other State Education Board of 10+2 pattern, securing 45% of the total marks
  • Those who belong to the reserved categories are offered a relaxation of 5% in the qualifying marks, i.e., 40% of the total marks in aggregate of the subjects
  • There is no upper age limit to apply for AP LAWCET as per the new regulations of Bar Council of India (BCI)
  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam of 10+2 are also considered eligible, provided they fulfill requirement of minimum marks for the qualifying exam

AP LAWCET Counselling Details

  1. Click on official link of AP LAWCET Counselling 

  2. Register for web counselling rounds of AP LAWCET by entering some details including Hall Ticket number, registration number, password and Date of Birth and remitting the counselling fee

  3. Once registered for AP LAWCET Counselling,  an OTP is generated for exercising options

  4. The option form is available on screen with a list of colleges and programmes

  5. Candidates can ‘Add”, ‘Delete’, ‘Modify” and ‘Save’ the options

  6. After saving the preferred colleges, a list released by exam conducting authority for provisional allotment of seats
