About AP LAWCET 2020

Andhra Pradesh Law Entrance Test also known as AP LAWCET is a common entrance test conducted for the different LL.B programmes offered by the participating institutes. AP LAWCET 2019 is conducted for the admissions to the three year LL.B programme, LL.B (Hons.), as well as five-year integrated law programmes including B.A LL.B, B.A LL.B Hons., B.B.A LL.B, B.Com L.L.B. The entrance exam is conducted online in both Telugu and English languages. The applications were available in the online mode for aspirants. Candidates were advised to check the eligibility criteria for the different courses before applying for them. Candidates were first required to register themselves for AP LAWCET 2019 followed by which they were provided with a registration number. This number could be used to login and complete the online application forms. The application fee was supposed to be paid online using any of the available online payment methods.

AP LAWCET 2019 was conducted in as many as 16 centres in Andra Pradesh. A merit list will be released as per which candidates will be called for the counselling procedure.

AP LAW CET Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Three year LL.B programme

  • The candidates seeking admission to the three-year law degree programme must have completed their graduation in any subject with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks from a recognised university. 
  • If a candidate secures less than 45% marks in his/her graduation, then he/she should have passed any additional graduate or postgraduate degree examination with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks.
  • Candidates who apply must be Indian national and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.

AP LAW CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Five Year LL.B Programme

The candidates applying for the five year LL.B Programme must have completed their two-year Intermediate examination (10+2) pattern with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks from an institution which is recognized or equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, AP or University concerned.

AP LAW CET Application form 2019 had been available to candidates online. Before filling in the application forms candidates were required to register themselves. While registering candidates were required to have a valid e-mail ID and mobile number. After the registration process was completed candidates had to use the registration details to login and complete the application form.

Candidates were required to fill in the following details in the AP LAW CET 2019 Application form

  • Exam Centre Preferences
  • Relevant Documents

The AP LAW CET Application fee had to be remitted online itself.

The following payment options were available for candidates - Credit Card/Debit Card, AP Online Centres

Steps to pay application fee through AP Online centres

Candidates had to visit any of the AP Online Centres with details such as - 

  • Hall ticket number of the qualifying exam
  • Name of the candidate 
  • Candidate’s father’s name
  • Candidate’s Date of Birth
  • Hall ticket number of 10th Class exam
  • Mobile Number

The candidate had to pay the fee and get a receipt for the same. The receipt contained a Transaction ID.

With the Transaction ID, candidates had to click on the tab 'Click here' if paid through AP Online button on the page for 'Registration Fee Payment Procedure' page.

Enter the AP Online Transaction ID, name, Mobile Number and Date of Birth.

Click on the ‘Proceed to Online Application form filling’, which led the candidate to the page of AP LAWCET Application Form 2019.

AP LAW CET - Documents to be uploaded

  • Date of birth proof (SSC or equivalent certificate, Birth certificate).
  • Marksheets of 10th and 12 examinations along with the hall ticket numbers.
  • Residential status certificate proving resident or non resident status.
  • Caste certificate if belonging to reserved categories.
  • Certificate of income of parents.
  • Certificate of special category if applicable (NCC, PH, Sports etc)

AP LAWCET 2019 result is available online only. Candidates can download the result of AP LAWCET 2019 which will contain the qualifying marks and rank of the candidates. To download the AP LAWCET 2019 result follow the following steps.

  • Enter the roll number and hall ticket number
  • Click on the Submit button.
  • The result will be displayed in the form of a pdf document which will contain the scores and the qualifying status of the candidates.

A scorecard will be made available to candidates which will contain the scores of the individual along with their qualifying status.

  • Candidates need to enter all the necessary details like name, roll number, Password and Date of Birth.

  • Law applicants have to complete their AP LAWCET Counselling registration by paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000/- SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs. 500/-.

  • To get the login,  candidates shall generate Password through their registration and
    send SMS to 8790499899 as 'APLAWCET(space)01(space)Your HTNo'                                    

  • Candidates can make their choices of college by clicking on the college of their choice from their list provided.

  • After the completion of the steps, candidates will be sent an SMS on their registered mobile numbers which will confirm the seat allotment.

The AP lawcet counselling for 2019 has been over. The seat allotment result may be been declared by 3 November this year. So, you have missed the chance to register.

If you are talking about admission process then self reporting part says that after you download allotment letter.
You should visit the college within the day and time and submit the allotment letter with the documents required.
.
If you don't get any previous documents on time then visit the alloted college on time and take an excuse and reserve your seat.
If you don't attend the college within time with allotment order your application will be cancelled.
.
So, get sticked with dates and get the things done easily.
