About AP LAWCET 2019

Andra Pradesh Law Entrance Test also known as AP LAWCET is a common entrance test conducted for the different LLB programmes offered by the participating Institutes. AP LAWCET 2019 is conducted for the admissions to the three year LLB programme, LLB (Hon), B.A L.L.B, B.A L.L.B Hons., B.B.A L.L.B, B.COM L.L.B. The entrance exam is conducted online in both Telugu and English. the applications will be available in the online mode for aspirants. Candidates before applying must make sure to check the eligibility criteria for the different courses. Candidates are first required to register themselves for AP LAWCET 2019 followed by which they will be provided with a registration number which will be used to login and complete the online application forms. the application fee is supposed to be paid online itself using any of the available online payment methods.

AP LAWCET 2019 will be conducted in as many as 16 centres in Andra Pradesh. A merit list will be released as per which candidates will be called for the counselling procedure.

AP LAWCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

AP LAW CET Eligibility Criteria 2019 for Three year LLB programme

  • The candidates seeking admission to the three-year law degree programme must have completed their graduation in any subject with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks from a recognised university. 
  • If a candidate secures less than 45% marks in his/her graduation, then he/she should have passed any additional graduate or postgraduate degree examination with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks.
  • Candidates who apply must be Indian national and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions.

AP LAW CET 2019 Eligibility Criteria for Five Year LLB Programme

The candidates applying for the five year LLB Programme must have completed their two-year Intermediate examination (10+2) pattern with a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks from an institution which is recognized or equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, AP or University concerned.

AP LAWCET 2019 Application Process

AP LAW CET Application form 2019 will be available to candidates online. Before filling in the application forms candidates are required to register themselves. While registering candidates are required to have a valid e-mail ID and mobile number. After the registration process is completed candidates need to use the registration details to login and complete the application form.

The AP LAW CET Application fee has to be remitted online itself.

Steps to pay application fee through AP Online centres

Candidates need to visit any of the AP Online Centres with details such as - 

  • Hall ticket number of the qualifying exam
  • Name of the candidate 
  • Candidate’s father’s name
  • Candidate’s Date of Birth
  • Hall ticket number of 10th Class exam
  • Mobile Number

The candidate has to pay the fee and get a receipt for the same. The receipt will contain a Transaction ID.

With the Transaction ID, candidates have to click on the tab 'Click here' if paid through AP Online button on the page for 'Registration Fee Payment Procedure' page.

Enter the AP Online Transaction ID, name, Mobile Number and Date of Birth.

Click on the ‘Proceed to Online Application form filling’, which will lead the candidate to the page of AP LAWCET Application Form 2018.

AP LAW CET - Documents to be uploaded

  • Date of birth proof (SSC or equivalent certificate, Birth certificate).
  • Marksheets of 10th and 12 examinations along with the hall ticket numbers.
  • Residential status certificate proving resident or non resident status.
  • Caste certificate if belonging to reserved categories.
  • Certificate of income of parents.
  • Certificate of special category if applicable (NCC, PH, Sports etc)

The Exam Pattern of AP LAW CET 2019 is as follows -

  • Exam Mode: Online
  • Language: English and Telugu
  • Exam Duration: 1 Hour 30 minutes 
  • Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions
  • Number of questions: 120 questions
  • Subjects: General Knowledge and Mental Ability, Current Affairs, Aptitude for the study of law
  • Marking scheme: One mark for each correct answer. No negative marking is applicable.

AP LAWCET 2019 Result

AP LAWCET 2019 result will be available online only. Candidates will be able to download the result of AP LAWCET 2019 which will contain the qualifying marks and rank of the candidates. To download the AP LAWCET 2019 result follow the following steps.

  • Click on the link 
  • Enter the roll number and hall ticket number
  • Click on the Submit button.
  • The result will be displayed in the form of a pdf document which will contain the scores and the qualifying status of the candidates.

A score card will be made available to candidates which will contain the scores of the individual along with their qualifying status.

AP LAWCET 2019 Counselling

Candidates who have qualified AP LAWCET 2019 will have to register themselves for the AP LAWCET 2019 counselling process. 

Check the steps mentioned below to register themselves 

  • Click on ‘AP LAWCET Counselling 2019’ link.

  • Enter all the necessary details like name, roll number, Password and Date of Birth.

  •  AP LAWCET Counselling registration will be complete after paying a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 1000 (General category) Rs. 500/-.(SC/ST)

  • Candidates are given an option to choose a college by clicking on the college of their choice from their list provided.

  • After accepting the seat allotted candidates need to pay the seat booking fee online.

  • Candidates will be sent an SMS of confirmation after all the steps are completed.
