Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has opened the AP LAWCET 2024 second phase web options window on November 20, 2024. Candidates who completed their second phase counselling registrations will be able to fill in the AP LAWCET 2024 web options till November 23, 2024 using the hallticket number and date of birth on the official website - lawcet-sche.aptonline.in. The AP LAWCET 2024 second and final phase counselling registration window was open from November 14-17 2024. The first round of counselling is completed. Earlier, Acharya Nagarjuna University conducted the AP LAWCET 2024 exam on June 09, 2024, in online mode and published the AP LAWCET 2024 results on June 27. Eligible candidates could fill the AP LAWCET 2024 application form online from the official website - cets.apsche.ap.gov.in. The authorities had issued the AP LAWCET hall ticket 2024 on June 3, 2024.   The application form for AP LAWCET 2024 was released on March 26.  

AP LAWCET 2024 exam was held across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The AP LAWCET 2024 question paper will have 120 multiple-choice questions on subjects such as general knowledge and mental ability, current affairs and legal aptitude. Each question will carry one mark.

What is AP LAWCET?

Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test, also known as AP LAWCET is a state-level law entrance exam conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. AP LAWCET exam is accepted for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes offered by the law colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Release of AP LAWCET notification 2024The admission notification for AP LAWCET 2024 has been released by APSCHE on March 22. The AP LAWCET notification along with exam dates was published in local newspapers and the official website of the council.
Application form releaseAP LAWCET 2024 registration commenced on March 26. The official website for AP LAWCET 2024 application form submission is cets.apsche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET. 
Last date to apply for AP LAWCET 2024The application window without late fees was open till May 4, 2024. However, candidates who fail to register by the end of the first deadline will have to pay the late registration fee. The final deadline to apply for AP LAWCET 2024 was May 29, 2024 with a late fee of Rs 3000.
Admit cardAP LAWCET 2024 admit card was issued on June 03, in online mode. Only those candidates who have registered on the website of the council will receive their admit cards on the login window.
AP LAWCET exam dateAP LAWCET 2024 exam date was June 09. It was  an online test held in major cities of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Result announcementThe result of AP LAWCET 2024 has been announced on June 27, 2024. The scores will be accepted by law colleges in Andhra Pradesh. The council will organise a centralized counselling to complete the admission process.

Candidates can fill out the AP LAWCET 2024 second phase web options from November 20-23, 2024 using their hall ticket and DOB details. The AP LAWCET 2024 counselling registration window was open from November 14-17, 2024.  After considering the candidate's preferences and their ranks, the seat allotment will be published on November 26. The authorities have completed the first round of AP LAWCET counselling 2024.

  • APSCHE will conduct the counselling of AP LAWCET in online mode. Hence, the shortlisted candidates will have to register themselves for counselling, fill in their choices and verify their documents only at the designated help-line centres.

APSCHE prescribes the programme-wise eligibility criteria for AP LAWCET 2024 along with the admission notification. Acharya Nagarjuna University closed the AP LAWCET 2024 application form on May 29, 2024 which was the final deadline to apply with a late fee of Rs 3000. It had released the AP LAWCET 2024 application form on March 26, 2024. The application form was available online on the official website. The last date to apply without late fee was May 4, 2024. Candidates registering after this deadline will have to pay a late fee. Eligible candidates could fill out the application form within the prescribed deadline by visiting the official website - sche.ap.gov.in.

Steps to fill AP LAWCET application form 2024

The AP LAWCET 2024 application process consists of various steps such as initial registration, filling details, uploading documents and payment of application fee.

AP LAWCET registration 2024

Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria of AP LAWCET 2024 should register themselves by providing their personal and communication details. This initial registration would give them their login credentials.

Candidates can make the payment of the registration fee online and offline. candidates can use a credit card, debit card or net banking details for online payment. They have to visit the nearest AP online Centre to pay the application fee in offline mode. The AP LAWCET 2024 application fee is Rs. 900, 850, and 800 for OC, BC and SC/ST categories respectively.

As per the notification released, the cut off of AP LAWCET 2024 entrance exam set for the general category is 35% (42 out of 120). However, there are no criteria regarding minimum qualifying marks if you are from SC and ST categories. As per the Andhra Pradesh LAWCET 2024 eligibility criteria for the 5-year LLB programme, candidates must have passed their Class 12 exam in a (10+2) pattern with a minimum of 45% marks. Any student who has completed their graduation (10+2+3) from a recognized College/University with minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General Category, 43% marks in aggregate for OBC Category and 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Category can apply for LLB programme
