About AP LAWCET 2021
Sri Krishnadevaraya University conducts Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) for admissions to 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB programmes. The application form of AP LAWCET 2021 will be released tentatively in the second week of March, in online mode. Candidates who passed Class 12th or graduation from a recognised board or institute with minimum qualifying marks may apply for AP LAWCET 2021. The state-level law admission test of Andhra Pradesh will be held in the first week of May.
Sri Krishnadevaraya University conducts AP LAWCET in online, computer-based test mode. The test is conducted across Andhra Pradesh and some adjoining districts of Telangana. AP LAWCET for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB are conducted to test the candidate's general knowledge, current awareness, mental ability, and legal aptitude. There will be 120 objective type questions to be answered within 90 minutes. The standard of AP LAWCET for 3-year LLB will be of graduation level whereas the 5-year LLB test is expected to be of intermediate level.
AP LAWCET admission process
Admissions to the law colleges and universities participating in AP LAWCET will be offered based on merit cum preference criteria. The candidates will be shortlisted based on the screening test. Candidates shortlisted through the AP LAWECET will have to participate in the centralized counselling process and provide the college preferences for admissions. The AP LAWCET participating law colleges will offer around 3020 seats for the five-year integrated program (BA LLB – 2780 seats and B.Com LLB – 240 seats) and 5866 seats for 3 year LLB program.

APSCHE has prescribed the programme wise eligibility criteria for AP LAWCET 2021. Candidates should read the eligibility criteria of AP LAWCET 2021 before filling the application AP LAWCET eligibility criteria 2021 are expressed in terms of academic qualification of the candidate, qualifying exam passed and minimum marks, and age limit. The programme-wise eligibility criteria of AP LAWCET are given below.
AP LAWCET Eligibility criteria for 3-year LLB
One must have passed the qualifying exam in 10+2+3 pattern scoring at least 45% marks in aggregate.
AP LAWCET 2021 eligibility criteria for 5-year LLB
The candidate needs to have passed Intermediate examination (10+2) pattern scoring at least 45% marks in aggregate.
Candidates belonging to OBC are eligible for a relaxation of 3% marks in minimum marks, while SC/ST candidates are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in aggregate marks.
Also, note that candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to appear in AP LAWCET 2021 for 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB.

The exam conducting body will release the application form of AP LAWCET 2021 in tentatively in the second week of March, in online mode. Eligible candidates may fill the application form of AP LAWCET by registering at the official website - sche.ap.gov.in/LAWCET. Filling AP LAWCET application form will include steps such as online registration and fee payment, filling the application form, uploading documents and submitting the filled in application form.
Steps to fill the AP LAWCET application form 2021
Registration and fee payment - Eligible candidates may register for AP LAWCET in online mode by providing the basic details such as name, category, date of birth, mobile number and email ID. The AP LAWCET registration fee can be paid in both online and offline mode. The online options for application fee payment are credit card, debit card and net banking. In offline mode, candidates will have to visit the nearest AP online centres to submit the
Filling AP LAWCET application form - After registration, candidates may check the registration status at the official website. Upon registration, the candidate needs to fill the application form which will have different sections like academic qualification, contact details, and personal information. The candidate will also have to select a course and give the exam centre preference. The application fee of AP LAWCET 2021 is Rs 809.
Uploading of documents - The documents must be uploaded in the prescribed format only. The passport size photo must be less than 30 kb in size and the signature should be less than 15kb.
Submit the application form - Check that the form is complete in all respects before submitting it. after submitting the application form, take a printout of the application form for future reference.

The Krishandevearai University will release the admit card of AP LAWCET 2021 at least 7-10 days before the exam. The APLAWCET admit card will be available at the official admission portal. AP LAWCET 2021 admit card will carry some important information such as exam centre name and address, roll number of the candidate, exam date, reporting time along with exam day guidelines.
Further, it will be mandatory for candidates to carry a hard copy of AP LAWCET admit card to the exam centre. In addition to the admit card, candidates will need to carry a valid ID card to the test centre.

Mode of Counselling: Online
The APSCHE will conduct centralized counselling of AP LAWCET 2021 for admission to the law schools of the state. The AP LAWCET counselling will be open to candidates who qualify in the online-based exam and are included in the merit list.
The AP LAWCET 2021 counselling will include steps such as online registration, choice filling (Web-options), document verification, and fee payment. Note that the counselling of AP LAWCET 2021 will be conducted in multiple rounds. Candidates who couldn't participate in the first round of the counselling will have the option to register for the next round. The AP LAWCET 2021 seat allotment will be done based on both the merit rank of the candidate and also choices opted for admission, including course and college.

Till now the dates have not been officially released. The Application Form for 2021 Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test (AP LAWCET) is expected to be out by 2nd week of March, 2021 and the last date without late fee is expected to be around 2nd week of April, 2021 and the exam is expected to happen in the 2nd week of May, 2021.

AP LAWCET 2020 counselling is delayed for a long time. The counselling was supposed to start in November 2020 but it was postponed and there is no further information related to the counselling. The tentative dates are also not announced. We can only speculate that it will start anytime soon so you have to keep an eye on information related to the counselling.

Sri Krishnadevaraya University on behalf of APSCHE has declared the AP LAWCET and AP PGLCET result on November 5 but there is no information regarding when the counselling will begin. Candidates who have qualified in the AP LAWCET 2020 entrance exam and are included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in AP LAWCET 2020 counselling and seat allotment process. AP LAWCET 2020 counselling will be conducted in online mode. The exam conducting officials was supposed to conduct AP LAWCET 2020 counselling around the 1st week of October 2020 but it has not yet begin. The officials did not give the reason for the delay as well. Keep an eye on the official website for the latest information.
