    About CUET LLB 2026

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the CUET (PG) 2026 Examination for 157 subjects in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode between March 06 and 27, 2026. The CUET LLB (COQP11) exam was scheduled for March 08, 2026, in Shift 3 (04.00 PM - 05.30 PM). Candidates could download their admit cards and undertakings from the official website using their login credentials.

    Earlier, the NTA extended the application deadline to January 24, 2026, with the correction window finally closing on January 30, 2026. They opened the CUET LLB 2026 application form on December 14, 2025. Through CUET LLB 2026, candidates will be able to take admissions into 3-year LLB courses of various central, state and private universities. The subject code of CUET LLB 2026 is COQP11. Candidates who have a valid score in CUET LLB 2026 will be able to apply to participating central, state, and private universities. The prescribed exam pattern for COQP11 includes sections on language/verbal ability, general knowledge, computer basics, and logical reasoning. There will be no centralised counselling for CUET LLB 2026 as the admissions are conducted at the institute level separately by each of the participating universities.

    Major Changes in CUET LLB 2026

    The National Testing Agency has announced major changes in the CUET PG 2026, ranging from the number of exam centres, exam centre preferences etc. The table below details out the changes in CUET LLB 2026 exam:

    CUET UG Law 2026: The National Testing Agency has published the CUET BA LLB 2026 notification. Candidates who will get valid scores can gain admission into 5-year LLB programmes such as BA LLB, BBA LLB and B.Com LLB programmes of participating universities. The CUET BA LLB syllabus comprises a domain-specific subject of legal studies in addition to a language section and a section on general tests.  

    CUET PG Law 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the CUET LLB 2026 notification. Candidates can register for the CUET LLB 2026 exam from December 14, 2025 to January 14, 2026. The CUET LLB exam 2026 will be conducted from March 2026. The subject code of CUET LLB 2026 is COQP11 and the code for CUET LLM is COQP14. Through CUET PG law 2026, candidates can gain admission into 3-year LLB and LLM programmes of participating colleges. The CUET LLB syllabus comprises sections on  - English, GK, computer basics, general aptitude and logical reasoning. On the other hand, the CUET PG LLM syllabus tests the candidate's knowledge of different topics of law.

    What is the CUET Law Exam 2026?

    The CUET Law exam 2026 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency. NTA conducts separate CUET law exams for admission into 5-year integrated law, 3-year LLB and LLM programmes in online mode. The 5-year LLB comes under CUET UG, 3-year LLB and LLM exams come under CUET PG. Candidates who have a valid score in CUET law 2026 must separately apply to universities that accept CUET scores. NTA will not conduct centralised counselling for CUET law 2026. Candidates must therefore make sure they fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the respective colleges.

    The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the CUET Law 2026 application form online separately for CUET UG Law and CUET PG Law. Candidates can apply online from the NTA's official website. 

    CUET UG Law application form 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the CUET UG 2026 application form on January 3, 2026. Following the initial closing on February 4, the registration window was reopened as a special one-time facility from February 23 to February 26, 2026. The application correction window for initially registered candidates was active from February 9 to February 11, 2026, though no correction facility was provided for forms submitted during the reopened period. The CUET BA LLB 2026 registration fee is Rs 1000 for General (UR), Rs 900 for OBC-NCL/EWS, and Rs 800 for SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender for up to three subjects.

    CUET PG Law application form 2026: NTA opened the CUET PG Law 2026 application form for LLB and LLM on December 14, 2025. Following an extension, interested applicants were able to apply for CUET LLB 2026 until January 24, 2026. The application form fee was Rs 1200 for general category candidates for up to 2 test papers. The final deadline to pay the application fee was January 25, 2026, up to 11:50 P.M. Candidates applied for LLB and LLM programmes as per their eligibility during the CUET PG Law 2026 application window. The CUET LLB (COQP11) exam was held on March 08, 2026, in Shift 3 (04.00 PM - 05.30 PM), in online mode. The steps to apply for CUET Law 2026 are given below:

    • Log on to the official website of CUET: exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-PG/ for 3-year LLB/ LLM and cuet.samarth.ac.in for 5-year LLB.
    • Click on the "Registration" tab.
    • Read the declaration form and click on "Proceed".
    • Enter all the required details like name, mobile number, email address etc in the registration form and click on "Submit".
    • Upon successful registration, candidates will be sent their username and password on their registered email address.
    • Log in to your CUET LLB candidate login.
    • Enter all the required academic, personal and communication details.
    • Save all the entered details and select your exam centre preferences.
    • Next, upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in the specified format.
