In such a case where two or more candidates score the same marks in CLAT PG 2020 exam, tie-breaking procedure would be adopted to decide the merit rank.

The CLAT PG 2020 cutoff is the minimum rank or score that a candidate has to obtain in order to obtain admission to the LLM course at any of the participating 22 NLUs. The CLAT PG cutoff 2020 would be category-specific and released separately for the NLUs. This means the candidate needs to meet the cutoff criteria for his/her category for the applied institute to be considered for admission, or else the candidate would be likely out of the admission process.

The CLAT PG cutoff depends on following factors:

  • The number of candidates appearing in CLAT PG 2020
  • The performance of applicants in the exam
  • The number of applicants to the college in question
  • Number of sanctioned seats
  • The category of the candidate.

If any of the above parameters change, the CLAT PG cutoff would also change.

Mode of Counselling: Online

Authorities will conduct the counselling of CLAT PG 2020 in online mode for admission to the NLUs.

Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling based on the merit list, which in turn will be prepared using marks scored by candidates in the offline-based exam. As part of the CLAT PG 2020 counselling process, the candidate has to get registered and then participate in choice filling and locking process.

There will be three CLAT PG 2020 counselling rounds, and for each round a separate seat allotment will be made.  The allotment of seats will be made based on the merit rank of the candidate and also college opted for admission.
