About TS LAWCET 2022
Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released the TS LAWCET TS LAWCET 2022 application form on April 6, in online mode. The application form of TS LAWCET 2022 is available at the official website - lawcet.tsche.ac.in. Last date for submission of application form without a late fee is June 6. The exam will be conducted on July 21 and 22, 2022, in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for TS LAWCET 2022 may apply by filling the application form. Candidates registering for TS LAWCET 2022 be issued admit cards for appearing in the examination.
What is TS LAWCET?
TS LAWCET is a state-level law entrance examination in Telangana. It is conducted by the Osmania University, Hyderabad for admission to 3-year LLB and 5-year LLB programmes offered by several law colleges in Telangana. TS LAWCET is conducted in test centres spread across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
TS LAWCET 2022 Exam Details
Candidates who wish to appear in TS LAWCET 2022 should be familiar with the exam pattern TS LAWCET 2022. The entrance test will be conducted for 1 hour and 30 minutes duration. The question paper of TS LAWCET 2022 will comprise 120 objective-type questions to be asked from subjects such as English, general knowledge, and legal aptitude.
Post exam, TS LAWCET 2022 answer keys will be released, which contain official answers to questions asked in the exam. The result of TS LAWCET 2022 will also be declared soon after the release of answer keys.
Currently, there are around 3,597 seats for the 3-year programme and around 1,580 seats for the 5-year integrated programmes. 5-year integrated LLB programmes on offer include BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB.

The eligibility criteria of TS LAWCET 2022 have been released by the exam conducting body, which the applicant has to satisfy in order to be considered for admission. Among the TS LAWCET 2022 eligibility criteria one must meet include that of academic requirements, nationality and age limit.

TSCHE has released the TS LAWCET 2022 application form on April 6, 2022. It has been released online at the official admission portal. Such candidates who meet TS LAWCET eligibility criteria 2022 may fill and submit the application form before the last date i.e. June 6, 2022 without late fee.
Note that for late submission to the application form (after the last date), candidates had to pay a late fee to submit TS LAWCET 2022 application forms, starting with Rs. 500, which can go up to as much as Rs. 2,000.

Pay the application fee - The first step in the TS LAWCET application process is the payment of the application fee. Online payments can be made using: net banking, and credit or debit cards. Check payment status: Upon payment of the fee, check your fee payment status. If payment is successful, move to the next step.

TS LAWCET 2022 Qualifying Marks
There are certain minimum marks (or percentage) the candidate has to secure in the TS LAWCET 2022 to qualify/pass in the exam. Such candidates who secure the minimum qualifying exam or more will be called for counselling and seat allotment, while the remaining candidates will be disqualified. TS LAWCET Merit List 2022
Soon after the declaration of results, admission officials prepare the TS LAWCET 2022 merit list using the marks scored by the candidate in the entrance exam. One fundamental reason for preparing the TS LAWCET merit list is to shortlist candidates for the counselling and seat allotment process. Depending on the number of seats available for various programmes, admission officials will make general and category-specific merit lists; and using these merit lists candidates will be invited for counselling.
Typically those ranked higher in the TS LAWCET merit list 2022 get preference during the seat allotment process.
Candidates with similar marks: How to decide the TS LAWCET merit rank
It may happen that two or more candidates may end up securing the same marks in the state-level exam. In such an event, the ranking of such candidates will be determined in the following way:
Tie-breaking procedure
- Candidate who has a higher score in Part A will be allotted a higher rank
- Next, marks of Part B will be considered
- If tie remains, they may be bracketed together, but at the time of admission, the candidate senior in age will be given preference.
The admission conducting authority will release the category-wise TS LAWCET cutoff 2022 for all the participating colleges. Also, the TS LAWCET 2022 cutoff will be course-specific. The cutoff would indicate the last rank for which admission is given to a course for a particular category or institute. Candidates who score below this cutoff in the chosen course (or category or institute), he/she will not be considered for admission.
The various factors on which TS LAWCET 2022 cutoff would depend include the number of applicants, their performance in the LAWCET 2022 entrance exam, number of sanctioned seats, category of the candidate, etc. If any of these parameters change, the cutoff would also automatically change.
Mode of Counselling: Offline
TSCHE will conduct TS LAWCET 2022 counselling for the candidates who pass the examination. The counselling of TS LAWCET 2022 is the last stage of the admission process during which the exam officials would verify the documents and information submitted by the candidates. TS LAWCET 2022 counselling will be conducted in three rounds (Two general rounds followed by a spot round).
As part of the document verification process, the candidate should get their documents verified at designated centres. Post document verification, the candidate has to participate in web-counselling, during which choice should be filled and locked. Since TS LAWCET 2022 seat allotment is based on both the merit rank of the candidate and also selected options.
