Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has opened the SLAT 2025 application form on August 15, 2024. Candidates can complete SLAT 2025 registration from the official website - set-test.org. The deadline to submit the SLAT 2025 application form is November 22, 2024. SIU will conduct SLAT 2025 in two phases on December 13 and December 15. Candidates can register and appear for any one or both the phases of SLAT 2025. The candidate's best score will be considered. The SLAT 2025 result is scheduled to be declared on December 26, 2024. After conducting the exam, the shortlisted candidates have to appear for a Personal Interaction session of the desired SLS as part of the SLAT selection process. The WAT has been removed from the selection process. The SLAT 2025 counselling will be done by each participating SLS separately. The university will admit students into BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes of the four Symbiosis Law Schools (SLS). The four SLS campuses are SLS Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad, and SLS Nagpur.
The SLAT full form is Symbiosis Law Admission Test. SLAT 2025 is conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed ) University for admissions into the integrated law programmes of the four Symbiosis Law Schools at Pune, Noida, Nagpur and Hyderabad. SLAT 2025 will be conducted in online mode at 77 exam centres across the country. Through the Symbiosis law entrance test the law schools offer BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes with a total seat intake of 1080 seats.
The SLAT admission process consists of two steps namely the exam and Personal Interview.
The final selection in SLAT 2025 will be made on the basis of composite score obtained in the two components of the SLAT selection process. Shortlisted candidates after the exam would be invited to participate in the PI round which would be conducted in online mode. Candidates who fail to attend the PI round would not be considered for admission.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has opened the SLAT 2025 application form on August 15, 2024. Before applying for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the SLAT eligibility criteria as prescribed by Symbiosis International (Deemed University). If candidates are found to be not conforming to the eligibility criteria prescribed by the university, then they will not be able to be admission into the law courses, even if they have cleared the exam.

As per the SLAT 2025 exam pattern, there are 60 questions divided across five sections. Each section carries twelve questions. Each question carries one mark. There is no negative marking for wrong answers.

Candidates must also appear for a Personal Interview (PI) after appearing for the exam. The SLAT exam carries only 70% weight in the selection procedure. PI carries 30% weight in the selection process.
Preparation for SLAT requires preparing on three fronts - the SLAT exam and PI. Candidates must focus on all the aspects of the selection process to finally gain admission into one of the Symbiosis Law Schools.
Study the syllabus and exam pattern properly to understand what the exam expects the candidates to do.
Create a section-wise study plan and a daily study time table. All the sections carry equal weights in the exam.
Practise with good study material. There are study materials specially designed for SLAT preparation which are updated as per the latest syllabus and exam pattern. Search for good books for each of the sections in the SLAT exam.
Practise with SLAT mock tests and sample papers to build speed and also assess the level of preparation and pinpoint any weak areas that need improvement.
Allocate time efficiently both during the preparation and solving mock papers and also on the exam. Time management is key to succeed in competitive exams to maximise attempts and score high marks.
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will issue the SLAT 2025 admit card on December 3, 2024. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official website through their login. The SLAT admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the exam hall.

The counselling process will be held separately for the four SLS that are part of the Symbiosis group as per their respective schedules. It must be noted that during the application process, candidates are required to separately apply for programmes at different SLS. The counselling schedule will be published on the official websites of each of the participating SLS.
The selection process at Symbiosis Law Schools consists of the SLAT exam and PI. While the SLAT exam carries 70% weight, PI carries 30% weight respectively. The SLAT WAT has been removed from the selection process.
Symbiosis International (Deemed University) will publish the SLAT 2025 merit list for each round of the admission process. The SLAT merit list will contain names of the selected candidates who have successfully cleared the exam, and PI stages.

As per the marking scheme of SLAT, each question carries one mark and there is no negative marking. SLAT 2025 is for a total of 60 marks.
SLAT is easier than CLAT. The number of candidates appearing for the exam is lesser than CLAT. Also, the SLAT syllabus is less cumbersome with no negative marking for wrong answers.
SLAT is conducted in two phases (Test 1) and (Test 2) every year.
Any candidate who has passed class 12 with a minimum of 45% (for general/OBC) and 40% (SC/ST) is eligible to appear for SLAT. Candidates appearing for class 12 exams are also eligible to apply.
