Common Law Admission Test for LLM
As per the official website, the educational eligibility for LLM is:
Bachelor’s Degree in Law, from any recognized University/Institution with minimum 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade (5% relaxation to SC/ST/OBC – Non Creamy Layer).
Now in the selection process its written that the admission will be based on the performance in the previous examination which is followed by a personal Interview. There are no such mentions of CLAT PG thus if you won't filled the application then you don't need to worry.

Clat is a national level Common law admission Test for admission in National law Universities.. The exam is conducted by the constorium of national law universities which is a total 150 marks for UG and 150 marks for PG that is LLM. UG exam candidate has to attempt 150 questions 1marks is given for every correct answer and 0.25 marks will be deducted for negative answer no answer is for marks zero
this year 2021 flat examination will be held in the month of June result will be published in the month of September 2021.

see there is no specific syllabus or topics given for clat pg exam. Questions pattern would be as follows:
The first section includes 100 objective-type questions carrying 1 mark each. There shall be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for attempting every wrong answer.
The second section is descriptive part, candidates have to write 2 descriptive essays.
Candidates who secure 40% (35% for SC, ST, and PWD) marks in the objective section will qualify for the evaluation of their answers in the descriptive section.
The paper will be constructed based on the mandatory subjects of the ug program and topics like Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Law of Contract, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax Law, Environmental Law, and Labour & Industrial Law.
so follow the previous years papers and make a list of topics of essays.

First of all CLAT PG is for admission of LLM which is master's degree in law, and CLAT UG offers admission for integrated law courses for a duration of three years based on 10+2 qualification, and if you're already a graduate then you can consider LLB for which the eligibility criteria is passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 45-50% depending upon the norms of the university, some of the universities which you can consider are Delhi University, Allahabad University, BHU to name a few, there are also state level law exams for three years LLB admission such as MAHCET LAW, KLEE, AP LAWCET, TS LAWCET etc, CLAT isn't conducted for admission of three years LLB, check out the colleges which offer this course at https://law.careers360.com/colleges/list-of-llb-colleges-in-india

First of all when it comes to preparation for any exam, aspirant should be well acquainted with the paper pattern and syllabus, CLAT PG will be conducted for two hours, it will have combination of 100 MCQs and subjective type questions as in two essays of 800 words each, total marks will be of 150, coming to the syllabus it will consist of constitutional law, law of torts, company law, jurisprudence, company law, intellectual property law, family law, property law, public international law, labour and industrial law, criminal law, law of contracts, tax law, environmental law, administrative law. Focus on case laws, bare acts, a large portion of the syllabus is attributed to constitution and jurisprudence, hence you can use books by VN Shukla for constitution, and VD Mahajan/Mani Tripathi/Panranjee for covering the jurisprudence part, for other subjects you can refer the basic books for the same but go through bare acts first, you can also make short notes as these are very useful for revision, go through sample papers and apply mock tests on regular basis, along with the result merit list will be accordingly released by the consortium, based on the merit list candidates will be shortlisted for counselling and further rounds of seat allotment, to participate in the counselling candidates will be asked about their preference for specific NLU and they need to complete the registration by paying counselling fee of Rs 50,000 and uploading the required documents, there will be a total of three rounds of counselling, after each round seat allotment list is to be released by the authority and thereby selected candidates are required to submit the course fee to further complete the process of admission.
