Common Law Admission Test
Delhi University (DU) has a reservation for the children and widows of armed forces personnel, known as the CW quota.
There is nothing much mention in the DU information Bulletin about the procedure/selection under CW category. There is no separate cut off for this category so one can not get to know whether he/she is eligible for the first cut or second cut off and so we don't have cutoff for this category under b.a llb course delhi University.
However,The last year cut-offs for the 2023 DU LLB entrance exam are as follows:
General: 85–90 percentile, or 255–270 marks out of 300
OBC: 70–80 percentile, or 210–240 marks out of 300
SC/ST: 60–70 percentile, or 180–210 marks out of 300
EWS: 75–85 percentile, or 225–255 marks out of 300
Your marks are far away from last years cutoff so it is most likely you are not getting admission through general category but if you want to get admission through cw quota then delhi University give forms for that candidates who are eligible for these seats you need to fill this form in the college with documents of proof that you belong to this quota after submitting the form they will call you if you are in merit list.basically there is a separate counselling process for this quota.
Hope you get your answer!!!

Hello,
Based on the previous year's cutoff trends, your SC category rank of 1597 in CLAT 2025 may have a chance of getting you admission to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohiya National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow, though this is not guaranteed.
For the SC category, the closing ranks in 2024 were approximately 10,000 to 17,000 in various rounds. In the first round, the SC category cutoff rank was around 9616, and by later rounds, the closing rank extended to over 17,000.
Given that your rank is 1597, you are well within the range of the previous year's closing ranks, suggesting that you may have a reasonable chance of getting a seat, depending on factors such as the number of applicants and the overall competition in 2025.
You can also use the CLAT college predictor to predict which college you can get based on your score, rank.
Hope it helps !

Yes, you can use your Central EWS certificate for CLAT PG, but here are some important points to consider:
Eligibility for EWS : The Central EWS (Economically Weaker Section) certificate is intended for candidates who belong to the General category but are economically disadvantaged. If you have a valid EWS certificate, you are eligible to apply under this category.
SCBC Category Issue : If you did not fill the SCBC (Socially and Economically Backward Class) category in your CLAT PG application, you cannot claim this category for reservation, as it is a different category compared to EWS.
Clarification with CLAT Office : Since you did not select the SCBC category in your application, it's crucial to clarify with the CLAT office if your EWS certificate can be used for benefits under the General category, or if any changes are possible in your application.
Documentation : Ensure that your EWS certificate is valid and meets the criteria laid out by CLAT for eligibility.
