Taking admission in ba llb in nmims with 68 marks is only possible when you belongs to sc/st category. 60-70 is a good score in CLAT exam for SC/ST category.Analysis of the paper suggests that a good score in CLAT will be 80-90 this year. Overall, 90+ is a good score in CLAT 2024 for the general category

No, there is no chance to get an allotment.  A merit list and invitation list for CLAT 2024 will be released, with roughly 15,000 names for CLAT UG and 4,000 names for CLAT LLM, for the counselling process. The processes of counselling and selection are carried out in an open and methodical way.

The entire CLAT 2024 counselling process—including registration, merit list publication, and seat assignment based on candidates' indicated preferences—takes place online. All of the shortlisted candidates will receive invitations for CLAT 2024 Counselling via email or SMS following the announcement of the CLAT Result 2024.

Only applicants who successfully complete the counselling registration process will be considered for seat allocation. Candidates who do not complete or participate in the counselling procedure will not be given consideration for seat allocations.

Admission to UG and PG programmes is handled differently through the CLAT. The consortium will provide the seat allocations for each of the participating NLUs in the admissions process following each round of CLAT counselling that you need to register and participate for sure. The CLAT seat allocation procedure will be conducted in accordance with the candidates' ranks and the selections they have made with the help of counselling. There will be several rounds for seat allocation.

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) offers around 3400 seats under 5-year LLB, out of which around 283 seats are reserved for NRI/NRI sponsored/OCI/FN candidates.

Since your NRI rank is 177th, you can target among top 10 NLUs. I also suggest you to take Institute of Law, Nirma University, Ahmedabad as it is a very good private law college. However, this is my personal suggestion, you can choose your college with your own comfort.

  • for BA LLB -5846 rank
  • for BBA LLB - 8515 rank
• For General other state:
  • for BA LLB -830rank

Based on your rank, I suggest you to give CLAT next year with preparations to crack top NLUs
