Expected Cut Off of Top NLUs
With the changes introduced in CLAT exam this year, the cut offs are expected to go lower than previous years. The CLAT cut off marks for top four-five NLUs are likely to be in the range of 78-85. NLSIU Bengaluru, NALSAR Hyderabad, WBNUJS Kolkata and NLU Jodhpur are the most preferred NLUs and thus are likely to see higher cut offs.

CLAT Seat Allotment 2024
The seat allotment process of CLAT 2024 will be conducted in five rounds. The consortium of NLUs will release the seat allotment list before the starting of each round. Candidates will have three options during the seat allotment process of CLAT 2024 - freeze, float and exit. The seat allotment of CLAT 2024 will be based on the below given factors:
- Candidate’s CLAT score and rank in the CLAT exam
- NLU preferences given during the application process
- Total number of candidates applying for a given NLU
- Reservation policy of the university
- Category of the candidate
- Availability of seat in the NLU

CLAT exam is accepted by 23 national law universities (NLUs) for admission to 5-year LLB and LLM courses. Additionally, over 60 affiliated universities and colleges accept the CLAT scores. The complete list of NLUs along with seats is given below for candidates’ reference.
