The Supreme Court has published the CLAT UG 2025 judgement copy on May 16, 2025 on its official website. It published the judgement after dismissed a fresh SLP filed by candidate Hardik Garg. Earlier, the CLAT 2025 SC hearing ended on May 7, 2025 with the top court directing the Consortium of NLUs to publish the revised CLAT 2025 result. The candidates who appeared for CLAT 2025 were eagerly awaiting the release of the official CLAT 2025 SC judgement copy. The Consortium of NLUs will publish the revised result and restart the CLAT 2025 counselling process now. In this article, let’s look at how to obtain a copy of the judgement yourself.
Candidates will need the case details to obtain the judgement copy from the Supreme Court’s website. During the CLAT 2025 SC hearing, two petitions were heard. The case details are given below.

During the CLAT 2025 SC hearing, the Division Bench led by Justice BR Gavai and Justice AG Masih ordered withdrawal of three questions and revision of answers to one question. It upheld the consortium’s answer for two of the questions. The SC judgement will have a big impact on the candidate’s CLAT 2025 score. The Delhi HC had earlier changed the answer to one of the questions, which was upheld by the SC. The details of the judgement are given below.

With AIR 10542 and OBC rank 1843, getting top NLUs is unlikely. However, you still have chances in newer or lower ranked NLUs like NLU Assam, NUSRL Ranchi, MNLU Nagpur/Mumbai, especially in later or vacancy rounds. Also consider good private law colleges as backup options.
Since you scored 8000 AIR in CLAT, getting into top NLUs may not be possible, so it is a good idea to look for affordable and good law colleges.
