How to break tie in DU LLM Merit List 2018
There is a chance that two or more candidates may end up scoring the same DU LLM Score and thereby obtain the same position in the DU LLM Merit List 2018. In such cases, the candidates will be bracketed in the same rank for the purpose of admissions until it is required to break tie when these candidates exceed the number of seats available.
In such a case, the admission will be determined as per the following order of steps -
The candidate who has secured higher marks in their LLB or any other immediate lower qualifying exam will be ranked higher and given admission.
If the marks in the LLB/immediate lower qualifying degree exam are the same, the candidate who is older in age will be given admission.
If both of the above steps fail to yield a satisfactory result, then the admission will be determined by drawing lots among the candidates with tied DU LLM scores who are present at the draw of lots.
The LLM Entrance Examination of Delhi University will be held in the third week of June and will offer admissions to 54 seats in the Two Year LLM course offered by the Faculty of Law’s three centres in Delhi University
