There are around 25 colleges in India that offer a BSc LLB degree. BSc LLB is a 5-year integrated LLB course offered by several law colleges in India. It is a dual degree program with BSc and LLB, where students study both science and law together. BSc LLB is preferred by students who are interested in science and law fields. The graduates of BSc LLB can work as legal advisors, advocates, solicitors, etc. Several top universities and colleges in India offer BSc LLB, like NUJS Kolkata, GNLU Gandhinagar, NLIU Bhopal, etc.
Candidates must have completed Class 12th from a recognized board in India
Candidates should be from a science background.
Candidates must have scored at least 45% marks.
Students are required to appear in various law entrance examinations to get admitted to top law colleges in India. A few of the entrance tests that are needed to get admission in best BSc LLB colleges in India are CLAT, SLAT and CUET.
CLAT: The Common Law Admission Test is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs once a year in offline mode. Candidates take CLAT to get admitted to top National Law Universities of India.
SLAT: The Saveetha Law Admission Test is conducted by the Saveetha Law College, Chennai for students who wish to get admission to the college for BSc. LLB and other law courses. The college is ranked 11th by NIRF in the law category.
CUET: Central Universities Entrance Test is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in online mode. The Manipal University, Jaipur requires a CUET law score for admission to BSc LLB courses.
