The National Law University (NLU), Delhi, published the AILET PG 2027 notification on its official website. AILET PG registrations 2027 will start from August 7, 2026 onwards. As has been the trend, the AILET exam is usually conducted the next Sunday following the CLAT exam date. The AILET 2027 exam date is December 13, 2026. Eligible candidates will be able to complete their AILET 2027 registration tentatively till October 2026.
Through the All India Law Entrance Test PG, candidates will get admission to a one-year LLM programme of National Law University, Delhi. The NLU Delhi admissions to LLM programmes will be done based on the scores secured by the candidate in the exam. The AILET PG 2027 entrance exam is conducted in offline mode at the designated AILET exam centres all over the country. The AILET PG seat intake 2027 for the LLM programme is 70+10 (70 seats on AILET PG merit; 5 seats each for Foreign Nationals and OCI/PIO). One supernumerary seat for Kashmiri Migrants. The AILET LLM syllabus 2027 tests the legal knowledge of the candidates to pursue a post-graduate program in law. The AILET PG 2027 syllabus comprises topics from general branches of law that candidates studied during their LLB.
The All India Law Entrance Test is conducted once every year for admission to BA LLB and LLM courses at the National Law University, Delhi. NLU Delhi has been ranked the second-best law school in India in the NIRF Law Rankings. The purpose of AILET LLM is to admit students into the one-year LLM programme of National Law University, Delhi. NLU Delhi prepares a merit list based on the scores obtained in AILET and holds multiple counselling rounds for its admissions process. The LLM programme at NLU Delhi has an intake capacity of 70 seats through AILET merit. The seats will be filled through counselling based on AILET LLM 2027 scores as per the reservation criteria followed by the institute.
NLU Delhi prescribes the AILET LLM 2027 syllabus and exam pattern. Students will have 120 minutes to attempt the AILET PG exam. All questions in AILET PG will be in the form of MCQ from different branches of law. Also, there will be no descriptive questions in the AILET PG 2027 exam. Each question in the exam will carry one mark, which means the maximum mark is 100.

AILET PG All India Law Entrance Test for LLM (session 2026)
NLU Delhi will open the AILET PG 2027 application window on August 7, 2026. To complete the AILET PG 2027 application process, candidates are required to pay the prescribed registration fee, which is Rs. 3000 for the General/ OBC/ EWS/ Foreign Nationals/ Kashmiri Migrants and Rs. 1000 for SC/ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates. The BPL candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories would be exempted from the application fees for AILET PG 2027. The applicant must take note to use only genuine and verifiable information for filling the application form; otherwise, the candidature of the candidate may be cancelled at any stage of the admission process.

Candidates desirous of admission to the LLM programme at NLU Delhi must meet the prescribed AILET PG 2027 eligibility criteria. Qualifying exam: The candidate needs to be an L.L.B graduate from a recognized university recognised by Bar Council of India.
Marks in qualifying exam: The candidates must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying degree exam.
Relaxation: Reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category are eligible for 5 per cent relaxation in minimum marks.
Those appearing in qualifying exam: Such candidates who are appearing in final year L.L.B examination may also apply.
Age: No age bar is prescribed for admission to LLM programme.

NLU Delhi will issue the AILET PG 2027 admit card tentatively in the last week of November 2026. The AILET LLM admit card 2027 will be available on the official website and candidates who completed the application process will be allowed to download it by entering login credentials. The AILET PG 2027 admit card is a mandatory document to appear for the exam. It includes details such as the exam date and time, exam centre details, reporting time and important instructions for the exam. Candidates must arrive at the allotted exam centre with a printout of the AILET PG admit card 2027 at the specified reporting time. NLU Delhi will not send any physical copies of the AILET LLM admit card to the candidates.

NLU Delhi will release the AILET LLM 2027 answer key after the exam on its official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Candidates can raise objections against the provisional answer key for AILET PG 2027 within the deadline by paying the prescribed objection fee and proof to support their objection. After considering the valid objections, the university will publish the AILET PG 2027 final answer key.
National Law University, Delhi will declare the AILET PG 2027 results shortly. The university will publish the results as per the AILET PG 2027 final answer key after considering the valid objections. Candidates can check the AILET PG 2027 result status by entering their login credentials on the 'AILET LLM results login window'. The details included in the AILET LLM results list are the marks, rank, and qualifying status of the candidate.
NLU Delhi will publish the AILET PG 2027 cutoff during the counselling and allotment phase. The authorities publish the cut-off for each round of counselling. The cutoff of AILET PG 2027 is category-specific and indicates the last ranks for which candidates are given admission to the LLM course in their respective categories. AILET 2027 cutoff is determined based on various parameters like the number of applicants applying for admission, seat intake, performance of applicants in the exam, and the category to which the applicant belongs.

National Law University Delhi will publish the AILET PG 2027 counselling schedule after the declaration of results. The university will conduct the AILET PG counselling 2027 in online mode for a total of four rounds as per the official notification. As of now, a total of three rounds of counsellig has been completed. However, additional rounds will be added in case of vacant seats. Candidates were able to register for the counselling in online mode on the official website by paying the counselling registration fee.
Step 1: Check AILET invite list 2027 - The university will release the list of shortlisted candidates for AILET PG 2027 counselling after the declaration of results. Candidates three times more than the available seats will be invited for AILET LLM counselling 2027. Only those candidates who will receive the invitation will be eligible to appear in the counselling.
Step 2: AILET 2027 counselling registration - Invited candidates will have to login to the admission portal using their registration number or application number as well as date of birth. They will also have to pay the counselling fee and upload the necessary documents and print the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
Step 3: Provisional admission list for AILET 2027 - The university will release the course-wise first provisional admission list after the verification of the documents submitted by the eligible candidates along with the waiting list.
Step 4: Admission fee payment - The candidates who are shortlisted will have to pay the counselling fees and then pay the remaining admission fees within the deadline.
