About AILET PG 2023
AILET LLM 2023 - The National Law University (NLU), Delhi has released the second provisional merit list for AILET LLM 2023 on January 30, 2023. Candidates can complete the admission process by February 3, 2023. Earlier, the university released the first provisional merit list for LLM programme on January 06, 2023. The candidates appearing in merit list will have to pay a sum of Rs. 50,000.00 as provisional admission confirmation fee on or before January 11, 2023. The university started the AILET counselling 2023 on December 20, 2022. The university declared the AILET result 2023 and released the final answer key on its official examination portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. All the important dates related to AILET LLM 2023 such as answer keys, result, and AILET exam dates are available on the official website of the university.
Last year NLU Delhi has introduced some changes in the exam pattern of AILET LLM which are mentioned below:
AILET LLM 2023 has two sections - Section A and Section B.
Section A consist of 100 MCQ-type questions, while section B has subjective-type questions.
Section A of AILET LLM consists of two parts:
Part 1: English language (50 questions; 50 marks)
Part 2: Legal reasoning (50 questions; 50 marks)
Section B has 10 questions from various law subjects. Candidates will have to answer any 2 questions, each carrying 25 marks. Further, section B is evaluated only if the candidate has qualified in section A.
AILET LLM questions are asked from the following topics.
Criminal Law
Constitutional Law
Law of Contract,
Jurisprudence
Law of Tort
International Law
Each objective type question carries 1 mark; there is a penalty of 0.25 marks for an incorrect answer. The duration of the test is 90 minutes.
Seats intake for LLM program
The LLM program has an intake capacity of 71 seats that will be filled based on AILET 2022 scores. Further, there are 10 additional seats for foreign nationals.

Candidates desirous of admission to the LLM program at NLU Delhi must meet the prescribed AILET PG 2023 eligibility criteria. AILET PG eligibility criteria 2023 include important points such as qualifying exam passed, minimum marks in qualifying exam, and age limit. Qualifying exam : The candidate needs to be an L.L.B graduate from a recognized university recognized by Bar Council of India
Marks in qualifying exam : The candidates must have scored minimum 55% marks in the qualifying degree exam
Relaxation : Reserved category candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD category are eligible for 5 percent relaxation in minimum marks
Those appearing in qualifying exam : Such candidates who are appearing in final year L.L.B examination may also apply
Age : No age bar is prescribed for admission to LLM program

National Law University, Delhi has released the AILET PG 2023 application form on September 7, 2022 in online mode. Eligible candidates can fill out and submit the application form till November 20,2022. The applicant must take note to use only genuine and verifiable information for filling the application form as otherwise the candidature of the candidate may be cancelled at any stage of the admission process.

Steps to fill AILET application form 2023
To start the application process, the applicant had to first get registered by entering details like email id, mobile number, and date of birth.
The candidate had to select and confirm a password for the new candidate account.
Next the candidate has to select the program of study from the drop-down menu and lock the application.

The AILET 2023 for LL.M programme will have two sections. Section A will have 100 multiple choice questions and a candidate has to answer two descriptive questions from Section B. The examination will be for 90 minutes. Section A will consist of two parts. Part one will have 50 questions from English language and part two will have 50 questions Legal reasoning Section B will have eight to ten questions from different branches of law. The candidates will have to answer any two (2) descriptive questions of 25 marks each.
The applicant by consulting the exam pattern of AILET PG 2023 understands how to prepare for the exam. For example, the AILET PG exam pattern tells the test has an objective type, including 150 questions and was of 90 minutes. So, the candidates need to focus on accuracy and speed.

The cutoff of AILET PG 2023 would be category-specific and indicate the last ranks for which candidates are given admission to the LLM course in their respective categories. AILET LLM counselling 2023 - Steps
Step 1: Check AILET invite list 2023 - The university will release the list of shortlisted candidates for AILET 2023 counselling after the declaration of results. Candidates three times more than the available seats will be invited for AILET counselling 2023. Only those candidates who will receive the invitation will be eligible to appear in the counselling.
Step 2: AILET 2023 counselling registration - Invited candidates will have to login to the admission portal using their registration number or application number as well as date of birth. They will also have to pay the counselling fee and upload the necessary documents and print the acknowledgement slip for future reference.
Step 3: Provisional admission list for AILET 2023 - The university will release the course-wise first provisional admission list after the verification of the documents submitted by the eligible candidates along with the waiting list.
Step 4: Admission fee payment - The candidates who are shortlisted will have to pay the counselling fees and the pay the remaining admission fees within the deadline.

Total no. of seats offered for admission in 2020 is 2175. For UG programmes are 1308. The number of seats available for the special category is 325. The total number of seats offered to the candidates of the state where the NLUs are located is 621.
